Wedding Planning
Curated by Mosaic Events by Raj Batra, the wedding embraced a design philosophy centred around spirituality, warmth, and intentionality. Every space was envisioned to feel calm, soulful, and elegant while staying rooted in traditional aesthetics. The décor language remained minimal yet impactful, allowing meaningful details and subtle colour palettes to take centre stage. Speaking about the vision behind the celebrations, Raj Batra shares, “The couple wanted every function to feel personal and emotionally connected to their traditions. Our focus was on creating spaces that felt intimate and refined while ensuring every detail had meaning and purpose.”
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
The celebrations began with a vibrant welcome dinner inspired by the rich culture and spirit of Rajasthan. Guests were welcomed into an atmosphere filled with movement, music, and festive energy from the very beginning. The décor embraced a playful and colourful palette with artistic interpretations of traditional Rajasthani elements woven thoughtfully throughout the space. Every detail reflected the region’s charm while maintaining a contemporary and polished aesthetic. The setting felt lively, immersive, and full of personality. Reflecting on the evening, Raj Batra says, “We wanted the welcome dinner to feel festive and culturally immersive from the very beginning. The idea was to reinterpret Rajasthan’s vibrancy in a way that still felt elevated and cohesive.”
Haldi
Inspired by the timeless romance of Radha and Krishna, the ‘Mor Bagh’ themed haldi was designed as a celebration filled with colour, joy, and emotion. The décor transformed the space into a dreamy garden setting where peacock motifs became the central visual element, symbolising beauty, devotion, and love. Delicate floral accents, artistic installations, and soft detailing added depth to the setting while maintaining an effortless charm. The storytelling element of the celebration came alive through a performance inspired by Radha and Krishna as the couple made their entrance, seamlessly blending mythology with their own love story.
“The haldi was envisioned as something emotionally immersive and visually graceful,” shares Raj Batra. “The Radha Krishna inspiration brought softness and romance into the design while the peacock motifs added movement and character throughout the space.” The celebration ended with a Phoolon Ki Holi where showers of fresh petals filled the air, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere.
Sangeet Ceremony
The sangeet brought together Bollywood glamour and contemporary nightlife energy in an exciting and immersive way. The venue was transformed with shimmering disco balls, LED installations, and dramatic lighting that created a high-energy atmosphere throughout the night.
The décor leaned into a bold and modern aesthetic while still feeling cohesive and stylish. Every element contributed to an experience that felt lively, celebratory, and visually striking. A major highlight of the evening was the series of family performances that blended storytelling, emotion, and entertainment through thoughtfully curated music and choreography.
“While the earlier functions focused on softness and spirituality, the sangeet allowed us to create something dynamic and energetic,” says Raj Batra. “The idea was to make the evening feel immersive, glamorous, and full of excitement.”
Wedding
Inspired by the divine union of Laxmi Narayan, the wedding ceremony embraced a serene and graceful aesthetic rooted in Maharashtrian traditions. Roses, flowing drapes, and soft golden accents came together to create a setting that felt elegant while preserving the sanctity of the rituals. The décor remained thoughtful and restrained, allowing the cultural richness of the ceremony to stand out naturally. Every design element was planned to support the traditional rituals while still feeling refined and visually cohesive. Printed sculptures became a standout feature within the décor, adding a unique artistic layer to the space. Paired with antique inspired accents and vintage finishes, they brought depth and character without overpowering the setting.
Manglashtak and Celebration Dinner
The final evening brought together emotion, tradition, and celebration against the breathtaking backdrop of Chand Baori. As the Manglashtak ceremony unfolded, the atmosphere carried a quiet sense of emotion and grandeur. Fireworks later illuminated the night sky, reflecting beautifully across the water and adding a spectacular finish to the ceremony. One of the most heartfelt moments of the evening was the bride’s entry alongside her father and uncles to a self-narrated song in her own voice. The evening then transitioned into an intimate celebration dinner where guests gathered to share laughter, conversations, and blessings in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The décor drew inspiration from mesh mirage aesthetics with cascading drapes, soft textures, and muted florals woven delicately into the historic setting. Warm ambient lighting added softness and depth while allowing the beauty of the venue to remain the focal point. “For the final evening, we wanted the décor to feel soft, layered, and emotionally driven,” reflects Raj Batra. “The venue itself had such a strong identity, so our role was to enhance its beauty subtly and elegantly.”
