How they met
Simran and Jatan’s story of love is a beautiful example of the surprises fate throws our way in life. Simran shares, “The first time I saw Jatan was during an industrial visit that our college arranged at his company. Even though we barely glanced at each other, I had a lengthy conversation with his father about the company’s journey. Imagine my surprise when I received a call from my mother saying that Jatan’s family had approached them with a proposal! This serendipitous meeting got us talking and we soon became friends, and before we knew it, we were in love.”
Today, Simran, who is a Chartered Accountant, and Jatan who is an engineer by qualification, both work for their respective family businesses while residing in Mumbai.
Wedding Venue
Simran shares, “Jatan had always wanted a Rajasthani Palatial wedding. We had just about 90 days to plan the entire thing, but we were most certain that we wanted it to be a destination Palace wedding in Rajasthan. We diligently explored 7 properties across Udaipur and Jaipur, but the moment we arrived at The Leela Palace Jaipur, we knew we had found our dream venue. The magical vibe of the stunning white façade and architecture, luxurious stay options and its breathtaking indoor and outdoor venues clearly won us over!”
