Sneha and Ronak, Dubai

Trailblazers in their respective professions, this US power couple celebrated their years of togetherness with a spectacular destination wedding in Dubai. To celebrate their union, WeddingSutra Favorite – BAQAA Glamour Weddings and Events designed, planned and executed the entire wedding, which featured myriad color palettes and themes. Wedding Planning
The comprehensive planning included turnkey solutions for designs, decor, events, entertainment and food and beverage, and was undertaken by industry pioneers BAQAA Glamour Weddings and Events. The brother of the bride and his wife had earlier seen their work at a wedding and were impressed by the magnificence and creativity of it. Thus began the journey of designing, creating and planning Sneha and Ronak’s Sindhi-Gujarati destination wedding, every precious moment of which was artfully captured by Shutterink.

The Wedding Functions

Mehndi
The vibrant mehndi function held at the bride’s residence in Meadows, Dubai, kicked off the wedding festivities. The sundowner was an explosion of color with quirky props, bright hues and twinkling lights illuminating every inch of the party venue.

Sangeet
Held at the Armani Pavilion in Burj Khalifa, the sangeet ceremony was a gitzy Bollywood night with a tropical theme. From the couple’s quirky entry with LED drummers to skilled bartenders putting on a show, a tropical bar named ‘Ab ki Bar’, fun photo ops and more, the event was filled with funky and surprising elements. The tropical stage and infinity dance floor made for stunning backdrops as the couple and their loved ones performed. Wedding emcee Junaid kept everyone entertained, while dancing fountains and fireworks displays made the evening truly unforgettable.

Wedding
In delicate hues of pink and peach, the oceanfront wedding at Zabeel Saray, The Palm, was touching and beautiful. The baraat procession through a pathway around the pool drew the attention of swimmers who gleefully enjoyed the pomp and splendor of this big, fat Indian wedding. In a charmingly modern twist, the pandit made everyone feel involved at the ceremony by explaining the rituals in English. Details conceptualized by BAQAA Glamour Weddings and Events, such as the floral aisle and handheld fans inscribed with the meaning of the pheras, all added a personal touch and novelty to the function.

Reception
The grand finale to the four-day long festivities, the formal reception at the Ritz Carlton, JBR, was a classy affair. The decor in ivory, green and gold, bathed in the glow of thousands of candles, was romantic and striking. A stunning Vogue booth made for unique photo ops, which the guests absolutely loved. The couple’s first dance to a special Bollywood sufi song, accompanied by fog and cold pyros left the guests entranced. This was followed by a funky interactive Bollywood dance show conceptualized by BAQAA Glamour Weddings and Events that was unlike anything anyone has seen before.
