Srishti Shah and Vaibhav Mantri, Ananta Spa & Resort Jaipur
A celebration that saw the couple celebrate the art of Van Gogh and the architecture of Jaipur
The wedding of Srishti Shah and Vaibhav Mantri in the Pink City was a celebration full of heartfelt moments and joy. Planned and executed with thoughtfulness by WeddingSutra Favorite – Shree Kunj Events, the celebrations were an ode to the couple’s journey together, especially their many Van Gogh-inspired dates.
About the couple
Srishti says, “We met almost four years ago at work and just naturally became inseparable. Vaibhav probably knew from day one that he was going to marry me, while I took my own sweet time to realize I had fallen for him. Every detail of our wedding was personal and thoughtfully curated and every space felt like an extension of our story, our memories, and our roots.”

Wedding Planning
Bhavya Chitlangiya and Hemankk Goyal of Shree Kunj Events say, “The couple wanted the wedding to feel soft, dreamy, emotional, and full of little pieces of them. For us the highlight was the sangeet which was inspired by Van Gogh’s The Starry Night. A high-octane party, it also featured customized tees for the bride and groom.”

Wedding Functions
Mehendi
This was an indoor celebration that saw the venue sport elegant seating with a palette of green, white and gold.

Carnival
The highlight of the carnival was the couple’s entry. The bride and groom were flanked by family and friends as they entered the venue.

Sangeet
The sangeet was inspired by a dreamy Van Gogh-esque Starry Night with hues of blue, a special nod to the many Van Gogh experiences that the couple shared while dating. The after party saw the couple wear customized tees that people could pen their notes on.

Wedding
The pheras were inspired by the bride’s love for pink and her hometown, Jaipur. The color palette brought in a soft, romantic Pink City charm. The bride and groom were led to the venue by a group of dancers. The varmala was celebrated with colorful pyros that lit up the backdrop. The mandap itself was resplendent in shades of white and pink.

Reception
For the reception, the aesthetic was regal Marwari in white, gold and red to create a timeless yet emotional celebration. The stage for the newly weds was a showcase of Jaipur architecture with traditional mirror work.
