How They Met
Naman shares, “We met in an arranged marriage set up in Delhi with our respective families in attendance. However, from the first time I saw her, I was awestruck. We spoke to each other for a bit at her home and then decided to go for a 4-hour long drive during which we bonded as we had common interests. Once we came back home, both of us were ready to tie the knot!”

Weddings Functions
Sufi Night
Exuding a mysterious vibe with its dark hues, scarlet roses, Moroccan lamps and velvet furnishings, the Sufi Night left everyone spellbound. Accentuated by gold elements, the event also packed a merry punch as live singers and entertainers took the stage by storm!
Carnival
After the subtle hues of the Sufi Night, the couple decided to step it up with a vivid Carnival celebration. Peppered with bright hues of yellow, blue, peach and pastel pink, the canopy sheltered the guests from the sun even as they danced to their favorite tunes. Games like beer pong had everyone in high spirits while the couple had a gala time posing for the lenses on the sunny white terrace of the venue.
Sangeet
When it came to the Sangeet, the newlyweds went ahead with a no holds barred approach. Overflowing with glitz and high octane performances, the Sangeet night was a swanky affair where everyone turned up in their best indo-western attires. Flanked by silver arches and lit up by sparklers, the stage was an absolute stunner while the couple’s loved ones indulged in delicious finger foods and shots while reveling on the dancefloor.
Mehndi and Mayra
The couple’s love for bright colors was evident at their Mehndi and Mayra event! Hosted beneath a brightly colored canopy of red, yellow, and orange hues, there was plenty of cheer to go around! Yellow arches draped with marigold garlands and floral rangolis welcomed the guests while the couple’s entry was heralded by traditional dancers.
Wedding
Taking grandeur to new heights and making full use of the wedding venue’s heritage architecture, Surbhi and Naman’s wedding was fit for a fairytale. Lit up by bright spotlights and fireworks, the event was regal as the bride entered in a palki. On the other hand, Naman entered with an energetic baraat that danced to the beats of the Dhol. Even as the couple exchanged varmalas, a gorgeous display of fireworks lit up the sky.
Advice for couples
Naman shares, “The biggest piece of advice is to hire good planners who understand your vision and can execute it perfectly. For a big fat wedding, every detail matters, so don’t compromise on anything! A DJ, an emcee, and a grand entry for the bride and groom are elements that are highly memorable, hence it’s important to make the right choices.
Do not leave your outfits for the last moment. Also, enjoy each and every day of the celebrations because they’ll be done in a flash, and most importantly, remember to invest in a trusted photographer who can capture impromptu moments with ease.
Last but not the least, do take some time out to spend quality time with your loved ones during the wedding.”
