With their loved ones coming from all over the world, they wanted their wedding to be an opportunity to spend quality time together and make memories for life. The stunning property of InterContinental Fujairah Resort, which is flanked by both mountains and the sea, made for a beautiful wedding getaway, which was planned by Jyoti Jalan Kohli of OH! SO Desi Events.
Coming from different cultural and religious backgrounds, the couple wanted a wedding that brought together the best of both worlds, blending their traditions and customs in one wholesome celebration. OH! SO Desi Events gave life to their vision of a minimalistic celebration with elegant concepts that gently elevated the beauty of the venue without overpowering it, so their love and family moments could take center stage!

Mehendi
The festivities kicked off on a flavorful, traditional note with a Mehndi soiree that saw henna artists, dholkis, good music, and a whole lot of fun. Friends and family members on both sides relaxed and mingled as they geared up for the upcoming wedding.
Wedding
Hosted at sunset, the outdoor function was imagined with striking floral decor, sleek metallic structures, and classic ivory elements to softly accentuate the natural beauty of the space against the backdrop of both mountains and the sea. Blending aspects of both their cultures, the wedding was a simple yet memorable experience where the couple exchanged garlands and vows that they wrote themselves, resplendent in exquisite gold attires.
Reception
As the evening saw a transition from an amber horizon to a twilight sky, the energy of the festivities ramped up for the wedding reception. The quaint vibe transformed into modern glam with warm lights and fire pits. The couple changed into a chic avatar with a red lehenga and blue Jodhpuri jacket respectively, as they toasted to their new life with their loved ones, before enjoying a grand spread of International cuisines.
