Tirthik and Kshama’s wedding was a celebration that beautifully balanced tradition, culture, and grandeur. Planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Bhagwati Weddings, the festivities unfolded across a series of thoughtfully curated events, each with its own distinct identity. Rooted in Rajasthan’s rich heritage yet tailored to the family’s vision, every celebration reflected a seamless blend of warmth and scale.

Wedding Planning
Entrusted with bringing the family’s vision to life, Bhagwati Weddings designed and executed a wedding experience that felt cohesive from start to finish. Each event was given its own character while maintaining a strong connection to Rajasthan’s culture and aesthetics. Speaking about the celebrations, Team Bhagwati Weddings shares, “The family wanted every function to feel unique while staying true to the spirit of a Jaipur wedding. Our focus was on creating spaces that felt immersive, welcoming, and memorable for guests.” From intimate ceremonial moments to large-scale celebrations, every detail was carefully planned to ensure guests experienced something new at each event.

Padhrao
The celebrations began with a traditional Rajasthani welcome at the Char Bagh gardens. Designed to evoke the warmth of a family wedding, the setting offered guests a meaningful introduction to the festivities. A life-size idol of Lord Ganesha formed the focal point of the décor, framed by an arrangement of marigolds, roses, and lush greenery. The floral installation created a serene and auspicious atmosphere, setting the tone for the celebrations that followed. The space felt inviting and rooted in tradition, reflecting the importance of beginning the wedding journey with blessings and devotion.

Welcome Mehendi with Lunch
For the Welcome Mehendi, Zoya Terrace was transformed into a vibrant setting inspired by the groom’s mother’s vision of a colourful Rajasthani celebration. Shades of pink and blue came together to create a lively atmosphere, while intricate gota work added a distinctly local touch.

Guests entered through a striking cabana installation adorned with detailed gota patti craftsmanship. Overhead, a gota canopy added texture and shimmer to the venue. Traditional Rajasthani carts filled with curated giveaways brought the charm of a Jaipur bazaar to the celebration and added a playful element to the décor. The tables were styled with hand-block-printed linens, lotus-inspired floral arrangements, fresh fruits, pearls, and custom furniture pieces. Gota-trimmed umbrellas completed the look, creating a setting that felt festive and immersive. With many guests travelling from Mexico, the Mehendi became their first introduction to the colours and traditions of Rajasthan. The vibrant décor and lively atmosphere ensured it was an experience they would remember long after the celebrations ended.

Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the venue was dressed in rich shades of gold and burnt orange, creating a setting that felt regal and distinctive. A custom embroidered ceiling installation stretched across the venue, becoming one of the evening’s most striking design elements. A grand peacock chair served as the focal point for photographs, while antique-inspired accents, ornate mirrors, crystal chandeliers, and draped installations added depth and character to the space.

Speaking about the concept, Team Bhagwati Weddings says, “We wanted the Sangeet to stand apart from the usual design language associated with such celebrations. The idea was to create something rooted in Rajasthan’s royal legacy while still feeling fresh and memorable.”

Haldi
Set against Jaipur’s open skies, the Haldi celebration embraced a softer and more contemporary palette. Shades of lilac, blush pink, and sage green transformed Aasma Terrace into a refreshing and elegant setting. The décor balanced floral elements with modern design details. Sculptural console installations added a contemporary edge, while carefully curated blooms softened the space and brought a sense of freshness to the venue. Rather than relying on traditional yellow tones, the décor offered a lighter visual approach that complemented the energy of the celebration. The result was a setting that felt cheerful, relaxed, and distinctly different.

Wedding
The wedding was inspired by the groom’s mother’s long-held dream of hosting a grand Rajwada-style celebration in Jaipur. Entrusted with translating that vision into reality, Bhagwati Weddings created an experience that reflected the scale and elegance of Rajasthan’s royal heritage.

The mandap was adorned entirely in mirror thikri work, a traditional Rajasthani craft that brought remarkable detail and craftsmanship to the setting. As the evening unfolded, the mirrored surfaces reflected the warm glow of the ceremony, creating a striking visual effect. Gold-accented furniture and silver-coated vedi chairs enhanced the regal atmosphere, while every ceremonial element was thoughtfully designed to complement the overall aesthetic. The varmala ceremony became one of the most memorable moments of the wedding, featuring a grand Shiv Aarti performed by multiple artists. Accompanied by fireworks and dramatic ceremonial elements, the celebration created a spectacular backdrop for the exchange of garlands. The experience extended to the dining arrangements as well, with a specially designed circular seating layout for fifty guests that combined intimacy with grandeur.
