From a cold pyro entry, to a flash mob for the haldi—each function at this celebration brought with it a unique vibe that celebrated this beautiful couple.
When Vandita Saxena, a data manager, and Vivek Mall, a product manager, were planning their wedding, they were sure of the decor they were looking for. From different themes for each function, to a floral mehendi, each detail was carefully shared. Where the Haldi had to be colorful and vibrant, the wedding had to be ethereal in white. Wedding Planning
Team Desert Pearl Entertainment says, “The bride wanted a blue-white disco theme for the sangeet night. We brought this into reality with a Winter Wonderland theme, with the stage bathed in blue light, and the addition of a smoke machine adding to the wintry theme. The bride also wanted a white-themed wedding, which was delivered with a white mandap and décor.”
Wedding Functions
Entry Ceremony
Set against the vibrant venue, the entry ceremony was a bright celebration. Traditional dhols and Rajasthani dancers had the guests dancing their way into the venue, setting the perfect tone for the festivities that were to follow. The couple’s entry was celebrated with cold pyros, making a grand statement.
Mehendi
Set on the Aurum terrace, the mehendi was open to the sky. Low comfortable seating, with delicate floral arrangements, marked the evening that also saw dances by family members. The couple’s entry was accompanied by energetic dhols, adding to the joyful vibe.
Cocktail Night – Yin & Yang Theme
Love is often a blend of two opposites coming together to create something fantastic. The cocktail night was thus themed Yin & Yang—bringing an elegant contrast to the festivities. A stunning champagne tower, a stylish entry way with the family forming a V-shape aisle while wearing themed masks, were the highlights of the evening.
Haldi
The haldi embraced warmth, joy and playfulness with pink floral décor. Dhols marked the bride and groom’s entry, the guests were all dressed in a palette of yellows and pinks, and their enthusiastic flash mob was one of the most fun moments of the celebrations.
Sangeet
For the sangeet, the venue was transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland. The couple entry featured fog machines, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The night also came alive with an electrifying performance by the Bombay Tusk Band.
Wedding
The wedding day was serene and elegant with white décor throughout. From the flowers on the mandap to the chandelier, everything was bathed in ivory hues. The bride made her entrance under a gorgeous floral chadar, lovingly carried by her brothers. The groom arrived in a vintage car. The reception was as elegant as the wedding with candle light framing the pillars, and a three-tiered cake marking the beginning of a sweet journey.
