Taking a cue from the bride’s favourite elements, this union flaunted customised decor themes at every event.
Brimming with elaborate setups that enchanted the senses, Vidhi and Rohit’s wedding hosted at the picturesque Radisson Blu Resort Visakhapatnam was highly customised. Design, conceptualised and styled by WeddingSutra Favorite – The A-Cube Project, this wedding flaunted personalised elements that were in sync with the couple’s tastes.
Wedding Venue
Overlooking the gentle waves of the Bay of Bengal, Radisson Blu Resort Visakhapatnam with its easy access to the beach made the perfect spot for Vidhi and Rohit to orchestrate their dream wedding. With a plethora of indoor and outdoor venues that gave everyone a delightful view of the surrounding greenery, this resort gave the couple complete creative liberty as they made the wedding of their dreams a reality. Plus, the in-house amenities, the most notable being the vast swimming pool ensured everyone got plenty of time to relax in between the festivities.
Wedding Planning
On the planning front, the couple entrusted the reins to WeddingSutra Favorite – Wedding by Ekta Saigal Lulla who seamlessly understood the couple’s vision and looked into every detail. For designing their wedding the couple chose The A-Cube Project who left everyone stunned with unbridled creativity at each event. Weddings Functions
Sangeet
Ambika Gupta from The A-Cube Project shares, “Inspired by Vidhi’s favourite movie, The Wolf of Wall Street, the décor of the event incorporated the vibe of the bar stock exchange into the ambience to create a unique setting. It featured leather panelling, gold accents and a moving ticker to establish the charged atmosphere of Wall Street, where the bride spent many years.“
Haldi
Ambika shares, “Taking a cue from the idea of blending art into Indian weddings the decor had artistic elements like paint tubes, cans, brushes and easels with a desi twist. We liberally used marigolds, pickle jars, chai glasses and terracotta props to create an indo-contemporary setting for the haldi.”
Mehndi
Ambika shares, “Aptly named ‘The McQueen Mehendi’, this event was a tribute to Vidhi’s favourite fashion designer Alexander McQueen. The decor for the mehendi reflected the ace fashion designer’s avant-garde designs by using 3D flowers, tulle and lush florals to create a luxe setting.”
Wedding
Ambika shares, “We wanted to create a paradise-like setting in Vidhi’s backyard. The decor for the wedding played up with wooden shutters, crystal hangings suspended from the central tree, brass accessories and fragrant tuberoses to lend an ethereal glamour to the ambience. Shola flower installations lent an element of sustainability while the diya jaalis and the chandeliers created an ethereal ambience.”
