Wedding Planning
Anisha Verma from Riwaaz-e-Rishte shares, “Overall, it was an elegant and simple wedding where we amped up the minute details. The couple chose the classic combination of white and golden as their theme for the wedding decor. This wedding did not have a traditional mandap or a wedding stage which redefined the standards of the modern wedding in the most graceful way.”
Weddings Functions
Mehndi
With a fringed ombre red canopy over the seating area, the mehndi hosted on the open lawns was a laid-back affair where everyone had a gala time as they got their hands patterned with henna. Balacing these hues out were earthy elements like cane baskets and wooden logs that featured delicate floral setups.
Shagun and engagement
For the shagun and engagement, the couple took the glamorous route with a sleek color palette of blue that was accentuated by gold lights. Cold Pyros greeted the couple onstage as they made their entrance and gold sequins were suspended from the stage ceiling which added to the grandeur.
Wedding
The Punjabi wedding, as expected was an absolute fun-filled ceremony. Anisha shares, “Indulgent feasts, delicacies, groovy music and alot of dancing – the wedding was filled with these elements. The couple went for a classic white and gold color palette. Plus they eschewed a mandap, which was an unconventional route to take.”
