Wedding Venue
The couple envisioned a minimal and classy vibe for their dream destination wedding in Goa and zeroed in on Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, a contemporary, luxurious resort nestled on a verdant hillside with mesmerizing ocean views. With 299 well-appointed rooms and suites, timeless Taj hospitality, delectable gastronomy, and stylish venue spaces, it was the perfect choice for a modern and elegant celebration.
Wedding Planning
With the vision of an elegant gathering with a minimalist ethos and a Shakespearean touch as a nod to their hashtag #AasULikeit, the couple turned to the team of VLW Global to curate the decor for each function. Team Fourfold Pictures captured their special moments in stunning frames.
Welcome Party
Dubbed with the location-appropriate pun of “Seas the Night”, the welcome party kicked things off on a high with an Afro-Bohemian-themed evening of music and dance. Breezy drapes, teepees, dreamcatchers, pampas grass, and dried palms set the perfect ambiance for the seaside celebration. The evening carried on with a rocking after-party with neon decor where the couple and their loved ones had a gala time grooving to the music.
Haldi
The next morning dawned with the lively festivities of the Haldi ceremony. Hues of pink and green set a tranquil yet traditional tone while fresh Mogra flowers filled the occasion with their aroma. The radiant couple were all smiles as their loved ones gathered around them to smear them with turmeric paste and shower them with blessings.
Cocktail
The grandeur of a Victorian Masquerade Ball spelled pure magic at the Cocktail evening. Gilded chairs, towering floral arrangements, library-themed lounges, ornate frames, and other memorabilia, the vintage clock dance floor, long dining tables, and more filled the evening with the glory of the yesteryears. Dressed in a riveting palette of red and black, the bride and groom dazzled as they took to the stage with their loved ones and awed everyone with their dance moves.
Wedding
Hosted atop the rooftop deck of the hotel with unhindered views of the Arabian Sea, the wedding wove a modern-day fairytale in dream pastel tones. From the seats to the sleek mandap structure, acrylic designs gave a clean and chic feel to the occasion, elevated with a floral aisle and mandap canopy of soft pink and blue. Dressed in an ensemble that matched the decor palette, the bride walked down the aisle under a phoolon ka chadar made of baby’s breath flowers, and took her vows with her beau in front of her friends and family!
