Aditi and Hitesh embarked upon their new life together with a beautiful celebration of their love. Their Rajasthani wedding was planned and executed with unique functions and memorable festivities by WeddingSutra Favorite – Desert Pearl Entertainment. Here are a few glimpses.
How they met
Chartered Accountants by profession, the couple first crossed paths on a work trip, that sparked a connection, leading to many phone conversations late into the night. Soon after, when Hitesh travelled to Udaipur for an audit, they had their first magical date, and there was no looking back. Their similar life goals and priorities cemented their bond and they knew that they were meant to be partners for life.
Wedding Venue
The bride shares, “Our wedding planners, Desert Pearl Entertainment helped us explore different locations. We ultimately decided to host our events at Udaipur and Ajmer as they are our hometowns, and we found the perfect venues at Palm Valley Svasti Resort, Udaipur and Cross Lane, Ajmer.”
Wedding Planning
“Both of us and our families had the same vision of our wedding – a two day fun ride with unique festivities that would be vibrant yet classy. We entrusted the wedding planning to the talented team of Desert Pearl Entertainment who executed everything to perfection. The entire team was on their toes for everything that the wedding asked for centered around our ideas and delivered a lot more than our expectations” shares the bride.
Vijay and Harsha of Wedstories captured every moment of the wedding in all its beauty. Makeup artist Gauri gave the bride flawless looks, while exquisite jewelry from Parinay Jewels adorned her bridal visage.
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
With myriad colors lighting up the festivities, the Mehndi was planned with the zest of a vibrant carnival. The bride donned a mint-green lehenga with exquisite zardozi work and a ruffle sleeved angrakha top, accessorized with a statement neckpiece with jade stones and gold inlay. The groom contrasted in a red kurta and a multi-color printed Bandi jacket.
Engagement
The engagement party was an elegant rooftop affair with classy, minimalistic décor of soft drapes and blooms. The bride and groom looked stunning in perfectly coordinated grey evening attire. The bride complemented her embellished gown with a pearl and stone necklace, soft muted makeup and a side swept chignon bun.
Sangeet
With all the pomp and splendor of a Rajasthani Sangeet, the night saw glamour, Bollywood flair and a whole lot of dancing. The bride, who had always envisioned wearing a rich purple outfit, wore a stunning flowing gown with sparkling sequin work and flared sleeves. The groom looked divine in a black achkan paired with a striking red pashmina.
Haldi
The most cherished event of the wedding, the Haldi function was a cheerful blend of whimsy and color that made for an unforgettable experience. White and yellow balloons teamed with a profusion of flowers filled the venue, while beautiful bubbles filled the air.
Pheras
Romantic pastel décor, a mesmerizing floral mandap, ringing bells and fresh flowers took the couple’s vision of their dream wedding to new heights. The bride looked resplendent in a gota patti lehenga with delicate threadwork in pink and mint green which she accessorized with a meenakari rani haar and a family heirloom rakhdi. The groom complemented her look in a cream sherwani with multi colored thread work.
Reception
The final wedding reception was minimalistic which involved a beautiful cake cutting accompanied by cheerful revelries. The couple looked stunning in contrasting attires of red and blue. The night ended in a spectacular display of fireworks.
Advice for couples
The couple shares, ‘You should keep it simple and not too packed-up, we had 4 functions in a day which was tiring for everyone, take ideas from different people as you might find something new. If you have decided something, then state it clearly to the wedding planners or your agencies, they will help you execute it better, in our case Desert Pearl Entertainment and Team did it exceptionally for us!!!”
