Wedding Planning
Tying the knot with functions in Vadodara and Goa, the bride and groom picked all their venues for their beautiful spaces, and entrusted the team of Tailormade Experiences to curate minimalistic, yet meaningful functions, with decor that softly accentuated the existing beauty of each venue.

Since most guests were visiting Gujarat for the first time, special room hampers featuring local delicacies were curated with chips, beverages, and sweets for the Vadodara leg of the celebrations.

Wedding Functions
Bride’s Mehndi
The wedding festivities began with an intimate Mehndi function at the bride’s family farm. The event focused on cherishing childhood memories with just close family and friends. To maintain the natural beauty of the farm, the family avoided using large structures and opted for minimal decor, while a specially curated dessert station from the bride’s café added a personal touch to the celebration.

Groom’s Mehndi
The second day featured a casual and breezy welcome lunch for the bride’s side, with colorful yet subtle block printing décor. Following this, the groom’s family hosted a mehendi at their farm, blending vibrant colors with a Gujarati vibe. A traditional singer led guests in Garba, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere as people from all across the country participated in the joy.

Haldi
The next day began with the bride’s Haldi and Choora Ceremony at Courtyard by Marriott, Vadodara. For the ceremony decor, the bride departed from the traditional yellow theme, instead opting for neutral shades of jute with accents of white, green, and yellow.

Wedding
For the wedding, the family chose a demure palette of white and pink, using flowers like Rajnigandha and lotus for a serene and traditional ambiance. Instead of a conventional reception stage, an existing rock in the lawn served as a unique backdrop for the couple. A touching moment was the groom’s mother singing a special song for the bride’s entry. In place of the usual customs, the groom was escorted to the mandap by the bride’s mother and aunt, while the bride arrived with the groom’s mother and sister, symbolizing the merging of their families.

Welcome Lunch
The celebrations in Goa began with a Goan-themed welcome lunch. The décor, food, alcohol, and artists were all local to Goa, featuring flowers like birds of paradise and other local varieties. The hotel provided local drinks and cocktails, and the menu included seafood and other Goan delicacies, making the experience as authentic as could be.

Sufi Night
The evening progressed with a magical Sufi Night, inspired by the couple’s love for musician duo Salman and Zaman. With dimmed lights and guests using their phone flashlights, the couple made a grand entry like celebrities, accompanied by live singing from Salman and Zaman. The décor used shades of rust and ivory to accentuate Alila Diwa’s ballroom, creating a magical Sufi affair.

Pool Party
Day two in Goa began with a fun, pastel-themed pool party. The poolside was decorated with cool summer props. The highlight was the bar where special drinks, including Jell-O shots and beer taps, were curated for the guests.

Reception Dinner
The grand post-wedding celebrations concluded with a romantic dinner under the stars. Imagined with a palette of brown, white, and green, the evening was reminiscent of an elegant English Reception. The evening started with formal speeches from family members and ended with a lively neon after-party, blending tradition with modernity seamlessly.
