How They Met
Arpi shares, “Jash has been my steadfast companion since childhood, weaving through countless adventures and cherished memories by my side. Our mothers’ deep bond forged the initial threads of our connection, which organically blossomed into a beautiful friendship over the years. Love subtly intertwined itself into our hearts amidst the camaraderie we shared, even as I initially brushed off Jash’s playful gestures as mere jests.”
Wedding Planning
Photographing them as they embarked on a new beginning happily was Seventy by Two who impressed the duo with their skills and understanding. The newlyweds share, “Seventy by Two’s seamless synergy with our vision surpassed all expectations. Their exceptional photography and videography captured stories in every moment with grace and precision. They were the best part of our wedding team and we trusted them completely as we knew we were in safe hands!”
Wedding Functions
Haldi and Garba
“We kicked off our celebrations with vibrant colors and exuberant flair. The plan was to make a grand entrance with dhols, followed by an enthusiastic Haldi ceremony, where we were covered in turmeric and, who knows, what else! That’s the essence of a true Indian Haldi, isn’t it? As proud Gujaratis, we couldn’t resist the allure of playing Ras Garba. This became an event where every guest could participate, commencing our Radha Krishna-themed wedding with unparalleled joy and merriment”, the couple recollected.
Wedding
Bride Arpi describes the big day in vivid detail, “Inspired by the timeless tale of Radha and Krishna, our celebrations blended tradition with modernity in every aspect, from decor to dining. My procession to the mandap included my brothers and family, while a heartfelt voiceover expressed gratitude to those who supported me on this auspicious day. We believed that for a true celebration, three things were essential: a welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and enjoyable company. The focus was ensuring every guest felt valued and cherished, knowing that their happiness would enhance our joy, creating unforgettable memories of our special day.”
Carnival
The exuberant duo had always envisioned adding a carnival celebration to their list of wedding festivities. It was a joyous occasion filled with laughter and dancing under a vibrant canopy. Guests enthusiastically participated in various games, adding to the fun-filled atmosphere. The heartfelt speeches delivered by both, the bride and the groom’s mothers, added an emotional touch to the festivities.
Sangeet
The couple shares, “We envisioned the Sangeet as the grand finale, a night where every guest could let loose and dance with uninhibited joy. SeventybyTwo astonished us with a same-day edit, capturing and delivering magical moments within mere hours! Our families enjoyed a fleeting moment of stardom, performing unique dance numbers until a live singer set the stage ablaze, ensuring everyone had an unforgettable, gala evening.”
Advice For Couples
Learning from their experience as a to-be-wed couple juggling multiple tasks, the newlyweds share, “To couples planning their wedding, I advise staying true to yourselves amidst the chaos of preparations. Cherish the love you share and let it guide you through this special journey.”
