Avantika Bajpai and Prashant Baranwal had always envisioned a serene wedding surrounded by hills. As they tied the knot in Mussoorie during the chilly month of February, their dream came to life. Making it all possible with their sharp planning skills and unbridled flair was WeddingSutra Favorite – DB and Spaces who planned and designed the wedding.
Wedding Planning
Spearheading the wedding planning was DB and Spaces, who, with their keen insights and creativity, carefully understood the couple’s vision and made it come to life. Be it the vivid haldi that eschewed conventional hues of yellow to embrace punchy orange hues or the dreamy phera ceremony, the planning team was on their toes as they orchestrated an immersive experience for everyone in attendance.

Haldi
Team DB and Spaces shares, “The couple envisioned a vibrant Haldi with an ‘orange sun and only fun’ theme, featuring lively decor, and a well-planned mix of drinks, games, music, and dance for an unforgettable celebration. We made the vision come to life with vibrant orange decor, personalised cocktails, a lively DJ and Dhol, engaging wooden board games, stunning special effects, and love maze games. The backdrop featuring the groom’s sister’s art added a unique, personalised touch!”
Sangeet
Elegance and extravagance were the key highlights of the sangeet as the couple immersed their loved ones in a celebration brimming with glamour. Team DB and Spaces adds, “We focussed on decor enchanting lighting, a stylish dance floor, a curated bar, and a live band. The aim was to create a sophisticated celebration highlighting graceful details and understated luxury. We crafted a design story with mirrors, smoke bubbles for a hint of enchantment, a personalized bar, and a high-energy band. The celebration also included a vibrant afterparty and a dramatic pyros entry, all seamlessly planned and executed for a spectacular night.”
Wedding
“The couple’s brief was simple – a wedding that resembled a dreamy, heavenly union. Taking a cue from their vision, we created a serene and magical experience through meticulous planning, ensuring an unforgettable celebration for all guests. We also added a ‘cloud effect’ on the staircase for the bridal entrance, added a touch of magic with flower rain, and designed an 80ft long passage adorned with pure white florals. The enchanting sound of bells enhanced key moments of the phera ceremony”, shares Team DB and Spaces.
