From a traditional haldi, to a grand phera ceremony - this couple’s wedding was a new-age celebration with classic as well as contemporary themes.
Pulling all the stops with its larger-than-life themes and grand designs, Ayushi Jirawla, a shoe designer and Ayush Jain’s wedding celebrations won hearts with its candid moments and surreal setups. Wedding Planning
Harsh Sukhani and Ashique P from team Koncepts Events and Wedding Planners share, “The couple was very enthusiastic about every aspect of the wedding. Working with them was a smooth process. In fact, their families also were open to experimenting as they explored a variety of themes and interactive activities.
For us, the grand varamala was the highlight of the wedding as it was a magical ceremony where everyone was mesmerized by the opulence. No one took their eyes off the stage for twenty minutes straight! The couple and their families were our first priority. Consequently, we ensured everything was up to the mark, right from the song selection to the internal team members who worked on this wedding.” On the choreography front, WeddingSutra Favorite – Dhawal Doshi was at their creative best as they orchestrated an incredibly eye-catching entry for the couple during their sangeet. Every aspect was carefully curated and the team ensured that the couple was the centre of attention at all times.
Wedding Functions
Toy Room Party
The Toy Room Party was a youthful and glamorous celebration at heart with its immersive nightlife experience. Harsh shares, “Inspired by the renowned Toy Room Club, we conceptualized a vibrant celebration. Playful decor, sleek entertainers and groovy music ensured the dancefloor was occupied at all times. The couple made a dashing entry with Teddy Bear Mascots, that everyone associated the Toy Room with and the guests enjoyed a plethora of interactive games.”
Carnival
Ashique shares, “The Circus of Love is a strong theme that amuses all styles and ages, whether you want to take the romantic route or opt for something trendy and modish! The bold decor with parasols, gola counters, a bright striped canopy and exotic Circus artists had everyone awestruck. The couple made a stunning entry with their swanky costumes and professional artists. Plus, a DJ ensured everyone had an energetic time on the dance floor!”
Sangeet
For Ayushi and Ayush, the sangeet was one of the most awaited events of their wedding. Harsh shares, “A 360-degree LED screen pathway, a starry photo booth and massive cake ensured the Star Wars-themed celestial sangeet looked straight out of the movies with its grandiose setup. The ring exchange and cake-cutting were followed by heartfelt speeches by their siblings, cousins and the whole family. Plus, the emcees set a light heart atmosphere for the evening as the families settled in for a night of stunning performances and witty interactions.”
Haldi
The second day of the festivities kicked off with a Ras Leela-themed haldi where the decor took a cue from the beauty of Vrindavan. Ashique shares, “Uses of elements like peacock feathers, colourful flowers, and traditional Indian fabrics were used to decorate the venue, hosting the auspicious haldi. The couple’s entry was done with dancers dressed as Radha and Krishna with a beautiful palki. This event had some fun anchor-based activities and performances that were followed by ‘matki fod’ ceremony and a floral holi.”
Wedding
For the final day, everything had to be perfect and the team pulled all the stops to impress the couple and their loved ones. Harsh and Ashique share, “In our careful planning, we wove together a tapestry of uniqueness. Even though the groom wasn’t too keen on a chariot at first, the family’s deep-rooted traditions led us to create something special. Consequently, we created an innovative electronic chariot for the baraat. As the baraat procession began, the lively beats of the Nashik dhol and the energetic DJ on wheels set the tone, filling the air with an electric vibe!
Our mandap had a beautiful backdrop adorned with the deities cherished by the entire family. It provided a stunning frame for the varmala ceremony, symbolizing the union under the blessings of their beloved gods. We also had over 15 pandits working in harmony to conduct the rituals, adding a touch of royal elegance to the entire affair. Through this thoughtful orchestration, we ensured that every element of the wedding carried a sense of grandeur, love, and devotion.”
