Merging new-age grandeur with their traditions, Bhanvi Diwan from the Diwan Sahib family and Perfumer Rachit Agrawal’s destination wedding was a spectacular affair in the pink city!
Bhanvi Diwan Agrawal, a fashion designer who hails from the family behind the popular grooms wear label Diwan Sahib and Rachit Agrawal, a perfumer tied the knot at The Leela Palace Jaipur. Filled with luxurious elements and planned seamlessly by WeddingSutra Favorite – Innocept Studio the wedding inspired awe. Photographing the couple at their best was WeddingSutra Favorite – Cinelove Productions who with their expertise captured stunning shots.
The Proposal
Bhanvi shares, “He proposed to me on Valentine’s 2021. He set up a very cute gazebo with a romantic candlelight dinner and music. And of course, once dinner was done he asked me to marry him!”
Wedding Venue
Bhanvi shares, “We chose The Leela Palace Jaipur for its sheer beauty and the fact that it catered to all our needs. The astounding array of in-house venues, the amenities and of course, its picturesque surroundings ensured our wedding was a memorable one!”
Wedding Planning
Impressed by the planning team, the couple shares, “Innocept Studio was absolutely amazing! Working with their team was effortless and they genuinely wanted to make us feel happy. By the end of the celebrations, we became such good friends. They are hard-working, detail-oriented and go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable.”

Weddings Functions
Youngster’s Party and Cocktail
Lit up by stylish LED lights and punctuated by groovy music, this event had all the youngsters of the family come together to celebrate the union. As everyone grooved to their favourite tracks, the party went on till the late hours of the evening.
Bhaat
A celebration from the maternal side of the bride or groom’s family where they are officially united to the wedding, Bhanvi and Rachit’s bhaat ceremony flaunted traditional decor accentuated by contemporary elements. A wall populated with pink-hued blooms was the highlight of the decor and gave the rituals a photogenic backdrop. Meanwhile, brass vases lined the entrance and contrasted beautifully with the checkered floor.
Shaam-e-Mughal
Draped in sheer white and blue hues with vintage chandeliers exuding a soft gold glow, Shaam-e-Mughal was a magical event. As the guests stepped inside the venue, they were greeted by Arabic lanterns, ethnic motifs and latticework dividers. Persian carpets were also scattered across the floor ensuring everyone was cosy during Jaipur’s cold March weather.
Bhajan Sandhya
The Bhajan Sandhya was a quiet yet luxurious event where the families united to pray to the deities before the couple tied the knot. White and orange floral garlands were artistically wrapped around furnishings while strategically placed diyas gave the venue an auspicious vibe.
Dhol Night
A laidback night where everyone danced their heart out, the dhol night had everyone breaking into a jig. The house was decorated with marigold garlands while gifts were also exchanged between the families.
Thapa
A ritual that’s hosted by, both, the bride and the groom’s family, the thapa mandana wards off evil forces. For this ritual, the decor was minimal as the focus was mainly on the rituals performed by the members of the family.
Welcome lunch
A laidback event where everyone mingled freely, the welcome lunch was sunkissed and colourful. As everyone arrived at the venue, they were greeted by dancers and musicians. Later, everyone moved indoors as they enjoyed a delicious lunch and cooled off.
Sangeet
Amplifying the glitz levels was the sangeet night where the couple put their most stylish foot forward. Decorated in vintage chandeliers, and cherry blossoms and lit up with colourful ambient lights, the sangeet transported everyone to a different world. Additionally, an enormous stage with the couple’s monogram dominated the venue and ensured everyone had a clear view of the high-energy performances.
Mehendi
Sporting multi-hued blooms, a stunning bridal seating area and quirky decor elements – the mehndi was a breezy celebration by the pool. Sheer drapes, fringed cane lampshades, miniature parrots, cutwork canopy and vases brimming with blooms put everyone in a cheerful mood as they got henna patterned on their palms.
Wedding
Regal and swathed in shades of red, the wedding was a stunner. Vintage chandeliers dotted the venue while latticework elements filtered the light in an artistic manner. White blooms contrasted with the dark red decor while gold elements gave a dash of glamour to the proceedings.
