Bhavesh and Barkha’s close bond was evident in the beautiful ceremonies and events that took place during their wedding celebrations. The couple chose WeddingSutra Favorite – 7X Weddings, to help them bring their dream wedding to life. Here, Bhavesh shares the highlights of the occasions.
How They Met
The couple initially started interacting when they heard of each other through the formalities of an arranged marriage setup. This led to friendship and the wonderful discovery of love between them. The groom says, “Our families received our profiles through a common acquaintance. The moment I received Barkha’s biodata, I looked her up on Instagram and dropped her a message saying that I hoped she had seen my biodata, too. We started talking and got to know each other without letting our parents know – it was our little secret. We were already quite comfortable with each other by the time our parents arranged a meeting. Once we met, the decision was pretty easy. And here we are today.”
Wedding Planning
“My dad always wanted to plan a grand wedding for me and I wanted to make his dream come true. I met multiple wedding planners before deciding on one. Ring Ceremony and Sangeet
The ring ceremony was combined with the sangeet night. It was a grand event where the couple was surrounded by their friends and families. Bhavesh and Barkha put on mesmerizing performances while others gleefully danced to Bollywood songs. The decor was chic and classy, with black and grey tones and an abundance of flowers adding freshness to the occasion.
Wedding
The groom and his baraat made an impressive entry, dancing enthusiastically to upbeat music. He wore a beige sherwani with floral accents, while the bride looked stunning in a red lehenga. The decor was primarily white, with beautiful flowers in shades of pink. Adding a touch of dreamy elegance were bouquets of white flowers and fronds extending from the roof of the open-styled mandap.
Reception
The decor for the reception looked exquisite. The venue looked regal with artistic columns and a grand floral backdrop – a palatial setting fit for royalty. The pathway leading up to the reception was decorated with stunning floral arches made with pink and white flowers and delicate leaves. The couple began their married life together graciously interacting with all their guests in this magical setting.
