Interior design entrepreneurs Deepankshi and Sahil’s wedding was a vibrant celebration which was a reflection of their love for all things aesthetic. Planning and designing their wedding was WeddingSutra Favorite – Le Florence Weddings who understood the duo’s vision perfectly to give them a stunning wedding.
How They Met
The couple shares, “We started seeing each other while we were in the same office. Around 4 years ago, from there we got into a relationship! Having a similar professional background led us to come closer and support each other.”
Wedding Planning
Team Le Florence Weddings shares, “It was a two-day wedding in November which was extremely close-knit. The couple just wanted to celebrate with the closest of their circle and be involved in each of the decisions. The decor was chosen to be minimal with no bold design and heavy structures. The sunset wedding was as they’d imagined it to be and the couple had a joyful celebration.
We took care of the entire project starting from the venue selection to decor, entertainment planning and hospitality.”
Wedding Functions
Sangeet
The festivities commenced with a glamorous sangeet and engagement ceremony. Adorned with a floral arch, chandelier and a simple dance floor – the sangeet had everyone grooving to their favourite tunes. Chrome elements were also added to the mix to give an extra dash of sleek glam to the venue.
Mehndi
For their mehndi decor, the couple favored pastel hues with a pop of fuschia. Arches adorned with blooms and tropical foliage gave the garden-based venue a fairytale look while furnishings with ethnic prints ensured everyone was comfy as they got their hands patterned with henna. The couple’s fur baby, Togo, also made an adorable appearance and stole hearts!
Haldi
Haldi witnessed abundant marigolds that were interspersed with lavender blooms. Matching the ‘all-yellow’ decor were ornate yellow furnishings and a vintage swing decorated with a garland of gypsos. Cane baskets added a rustic touch to the open-air venue as the couple shared a playful haldi session with their loved ones.
Wedding
The sundowner wedding on the lawn flaunted red, white and green hues. A mandap with suspended blooms was accentuated by a white aisle lined by tropical palms. The couple struck the right balance between traditional glamour and minimalism with a wedding mandap that fit seamlessly into its surroundings!
