Wedding Planning
Dhwani shares, “Hailing from Gujarati Jain families, we chose the picturesque city of lakes – Udaipur – as the backdrop for our union. Our aspiration was simple yet profound – to orchestrate a wedding that would be nothing short of extraordinary and set a benchmark for all to behold.
Planning and preparations proved to be quite a task for both of us, especially since Aash was in New Jersey and had only flown back a month before the wedding. I took the lead in wedding planning with the Event Gurus team. The planning team was extremely proactive, ensuring everything was organized just the way we had always envisioned. Each celebration was magical as the Event Gurus team collaborated with us seamlessly.”
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The Mehendi ceremony burst with colors featuring intricate Moroccan-themed décor that adorned every corner. Gilded lamps cast a glow over the festivities and fresh blooms filled the air with their exquisite fragrance. The event had everyone enthusiastically joining the activities, fostering closeness and camaraderie between the families.
Sangeet
Dhwani shares, “As the night of the Sangeet approached, excitement filled the air with anticipation. The glittery theme set the stage for a night filled with fun, dance, and unforgettable moments. We danced our hearts out, surrounded by loved ones, creating memories to last a lifetime. From solo dance performances to group performances by families – this sangeet had everyone glued!”
Haldi
Dhwani and Aash share, “The Haldi ceremony was a joyful affair, bathed in hues of yellow and echoing with laughter. It was a time for our loved ones to come together, share stories, and bless us as we embarked on this journey of a lifetime. The decor with its array of marigold blooms and foliage looked gorgeous against the cerulean sky.”
Wedding
Dhwani shares, “We’d been waiting for this day with bated breath. After eight months of meticulous attention to detail, the planning team showcased their finely honed skills! Every moment seemed like a dream as we honored tradition and, at the same time, included a few unconventional rituals. Aash playfully signed a marriage contract with adorable promises while my bridal entry had everyone’s emotions running high. The varmala ceremony, set against a picturesque view was a sight to behold, capturing the essence of our love. Scarlet hues made the venue look ethereal while strategically placed white blooms, vintage wooden furnishings and brass elements gave a stunning contrast. In hindsight, everything was just perfect. The lighting, the decor and the flow of events.”
