How they met
Hailing from Gujarat and Mumbai respectively, Disha and Parth found love on an online dating platform! Disha shares, “On our very first date, Parth got me flowers, having taken cues from the little details I had posted on Instagram, and that instantly won my heart. Conversations with him felt seamless and easy from the start, and we closed the bar that night! We kept planning dates for coffee, brunches, trips to vineyards, and before long we met each other’s friends and families. By the end of 2022, we knew where we were headed, and in March of 2023, Parth proposed to me at the same place we had our first date”!
Wedding Planning
For their dream destination wedding, the couple zeroed in on the heritage and splendor of Udaipur. They envisioned simple yet aesthetic, chic decor with a lot of personal touches, and entrusted Desert Pearl Entertainment to bring their ideas to life. Disha shares, “I would like to emphasize the execution of our Wedding Mandap, which was straight out of a fairytale. We wanted something rustic and beautiful with stunning flowers arranged in a specific design, and Niyati and her team expertly executed it! They also crafted our gorgeous Save-the-Date, the template of which was inspired by our love of collecting postcards”.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
The festivities kicked off on a lively note with a sunkissed Haldi soiree. Breezy drapes and plush floral arrangements in white set a serene base for the occasion, elevated with pops of yellow and blue for a modern, minimalistic feel. The entry signage of “Bura na mano haldi hai” held a promise of great fun and festivities, and the couple was all smiles as they sat for their joyous ritual.
Sangeet
The starry exuberance of Sangeet night took over the evening with glitz and glamor. Imagined with tons of fairy lights, disco balls, lush foliage, and more, the occasion was replete with rousing music and dance as the couple and their loved ones took to the stage to showcase their dancing chops! The revelries continued late into the night.
Wedding
The couple tied the knot in a dreamy sunset wedding brimming with floral decor that exuded a wild exuberance, along with tender personal touches. Dressed in a custom lehenga that carried pieces of her mother and sister’s wedding outfits, the bride was radiant as she walked down the aisle under a green ‘phoolon ka chadar’. Decked with thick foliage and exotic blooms, the mandap was as enchanting as could be. The festivities were followed by a rustic farm-to-table style Reception.
Afterparty
A boisterous Pajama party brought the celebrations to an exciting close! Dressed in their jammies and their most comfortable shoes, the guests spent the night dancing their hearts out. The couple rocked the night in matching denim jackets with cool patches.
