Wedding Planning
The festivities commenced in Mumbai with a spirited Sports Day that broke the ice between families through friendly competition and shared laughter. In Pushkar, the wedding found its canvas in the city’s sacred aura and scenic vistas of the Aravalli hills. “Our vision was to ensure that every event flowed seamlessly into the next, each carrying its own character yet contributing to the overall harmony of the celebrations,” shares Ashique Palakkodan from Marrygold WCE.
Wedding Functions
Sports Day
The revelry began with a unique Sports Day in Mumbai, designed as a joyful icebreaker. Families bonded over games, relays, and a lively cricket match that brought out the spirit of camaraderie.
Bollywood Night
As ardent Bollywood fans, the couple opened the celebrations with an intimate Bollywood Night for close family. From buzzer rounds to theme-based activities, the evening sparkled with filmy flair, capturing the couple’s shared love for Hindi cinema.
Carnival and Sangeet
Guests were welcomed to the Carnival with entertainers, stalls, and interactive games. As dusk fell, the atmosphere transformed into an electrifying Sangeet, aptly called ‘Tamasha Night’. A grand stage hosted spirited family performances, while the live band amped up the energy, making the evening a dazzling one.
Haldi
The Haldi was designed around the theme of ‘Pink Note’. Shades of blush and fuchsia enveloped the décor, complemented by wedding favor stalls and entertainment. The festivities peaked with phoolon ki holi, as flower petals were showered on the couple and their loved ones.
Wedding
The wedding ceremony was a divine affair steeped in grandeur. A mandap adorned with lush red florals framed the sacred rituals, while the couple made a regal entry to personalised songs and voiceovers that tugged at the heartstrings. The varmala was marked by a burst of fireworks, and as the pheras concluded, a Rajasthani folk fusion band enthralled guests, infusing the evening with the cultural vibrancy of the venue.
