Dr. Raksha Prasad and Dr. Parth Pratik, The Tamarind Tree, Bangalore
A quaint celebration of love nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of the city!
Framed by earthy backdrops and heritage architecture, Dr. Raksha Prasad and Dr. Parth Pratik’s intimate wedding saw a beautiful blend of tradition and tranquility, brought to life by WeddingSutra Favorite – Tales of Tradition. Watch it unfold!
How they met
Raksha shares “Parth and I met during the 2nd year of med school and became close friends. It was our strong friendship that sparked our love and formed the basis of our long relationship. After over seven years of dating, we decided to tie the knot.”
Wedding Planning
To bring their vision of the wedding to life, the couple entrusted the team of Tales of Tradition. Reflecting on the experience, Raksha shares “I wanted to keep hampers in each room with treats and goodies for the guests, along with a note from the bride and groom. This personal request was executed flawlessly. I was super happy with how it turned out during the last minute! Team Tales of Tradition took care of every little detail and concept! Jeevan Jyoti, who was our point of contact, was incredibly patient with all our queries, put us in touch with some of the best vendors, and made sure everything was delivered perfectly and on time. They really know how to plan and organize your dream wedding!”
She adds, “Parth is Oriya and I’m a Kannadiga. We wanted both our families to celebrate each other’s cultures, so our rituals were performed by 2 pandits from each culture.”
Wedding Functions
Haldi
Hues of white and yellow lit up the earthy backdrop of the venue for the Haldi function. Dressed in matching tones of mustard, the bride and groom danced into the festivities amidst colorful smoke, where they were anointed with turmeric and showered with flower petals by their loved ones.
Sangeet
Brimming with baby’s breath, lush foliage, billowing white drapes, and dreamy lights, the Sangeet night was as enchanting as could be! Enrobed in shimmering ensembles of white and black, Raksha and Parth looked “made for each other” as they danced amidst sparkling fireworks. Filled with musical melodies and dance performances, the evening was one of love, beauty, and enjoyment.
Wedding
Hosted on Valentine’s Day – the day of love, the Wedding was resplendent in hues of red and white. From the stunning floral swing covered in red roses to the phoolon ka chadar and the magnificent mandap with its canopy of flowers, the vibrant color palette was everything with a sense of tradition and tranquility. The couple was the picture of love as they took their vows.
