How they met
Esha, Founder House Of Zeniaa & Trosta, and Nikunj, who runs his family business ‘Pilot Industries’ started their journey in high school. The romance of their young love and schooltime adventures transformed into an enduring bond as time passed. When the time came for them to take their relationship to the next step, they decided to celebrate with a multicultural wedding as vibrant and fun akin to their story.
Wedding Venue
With over six acres of lush gardens in the heart of New Delhi, the luxurious Mughal-inspired architecture and intimate interiors of Taj Palace made for the perfect backdrop for the couple’s Sangeet and Wedding festivities.
Wedding Planning
The couple entrusted the team of Plush Weddings to design and execute their vision for the celebrations. They share, “Plush Weddings and their Co-planners Touchwood group went out of their way to ensure that we were happy with every detail even as they put in their very best to design our events. We wanted our wedding to be opulent with a healthy mix of fun and love. From customizing bar accessories for every event to getting special sweets flown in from across the country and procuring exclusive silver gifts for the guests, they made everything really memorable”.
The team of Cinelove Productions captured every second of their vibrant revelries in stunning shots and videos.
Wedding Functions
Bride’s Mehndi
Hosted at the bride’s home, the intimate mehndi function was set with romantic decor in shades of sage green and salmon with bohemian touches. Delicate floral elements enhanced the lush lawns and greenery of the garden areas, while ornate rugs, rustic elements and plush cushions added a quirky yet warm feel to the occasion. The bride wore a stunning blush and blue lehenga with elaborate flower motifs, which the groom complemented with a light blue Bandi jacket and kurta ensemble.
Bride’s Haldi
The bride’s intimate Haldi function was held at her home as well, for which the garden was transformed with fuchsia drapes, marigolds and other vibrant elements. Dressed in a mustard kurta, the bride sat in a traditional brass vat as her family doused her in Haldi and rose petals.
Groom’s Mehndi
The groom’s mehndi bash was no less than a lavish affair with a dreamy entrance lined with floral arches on the walkway. Accents of brown and white tones in furniture added a lovely earthy contrast to the elegant color palette of Tiffany blue and the greenery of the venue. From the groom arriving on a Segway, to the groom squad dressed in custom kurtas, wedding favor carts, a tropical cocktail bar and an eye-catching peacock installation, the occasion was full of unique and special touches.
Cocktail
The couple rang in their Sangeet night with glitz and glam that was as elegant as it was decadent. With a black and white theme, stunning walls, canopies and arrangements of white flowers elevating the evening, all of it drenched in an ethereal red glow. Mirror detailing and crystals added some bling, while the striking unicorn installation stole the show. The bride’s fun entry with her family had everyone awestruck, while performances, music and enjoyment followed through the night.
Wedding
The wedding was a royal affair with opulent decor and grand festivities. Red flowers ruled the theme, with striking props and chandeliers adding even more splendor. The bride matched the decor with her lehenga, while the groom complemented her in an ivory sherwani. A stellar Jaimala setup and a grand mandap for their nuptials, with a backdrop of a Pichwai painting of Shreenathji made the occasion truly unforgettable as they tied the knot to musical pheras by Hiral Kamani.
