How They Met
They say when it’s meant to be, it will be! Although they didn’t have marriage on their minds, it took Hansika and Utkarsh just 3 planned meetings and an unplanned one to know they had found their partner for life. With a dreamy beachside pre-wedding shoot and a royal wedding just months later, they felt on top of the world as they set out to build a life together.
Wedding Venue
The couple picked the renowned KNCC Agra as the perfect backdrop to their grand celebrations. A confluence of modern architecture and state-of-the-art facilities, the Kunjamal ‘N’ Convention Centre is an idyllic venue for unforgettable weddings in the city of the Taj Mahal. The diverse indoor and outdoor event spaces of capacity for up to 4500 guests offered endless opportunities to craft the wedding of their dreams.
Wedding Planning
The team of CoolBluez Photography captured the couple’s special moments in exquisite detail. Looking back at the experience, they share, “After witnessing the meticulous planning and execution of the pre-wedding shoot, we knew we were in good hands for the wedding photography. Through all the hustle and bustle of the events, they created a relaxed environment for us, and it felt like we were working with family. Although our wedding dates got shifted several times, they were always happy to adjust. The outcome of the photography and cinematography has made us fall in love with each other all over again. A big thanks to Surpreet and Pawan for making this possible.”
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The festivities began with a lively Mehndi soiree full of music, dance and fun. Hansika and Utkarsh played couple games while their friends and families cheered them on, and everyone took to the dance floor to shake a leg and revel. The bride sported a youthful green lehenga which she aptly complemented with butterfly accessories in her hair, while the groom matched her color palette with a floral Bandi set.
Sangeet
The momentum of the evening picked up with the rousing Sangeet revelries orchestrated with glitzy colorful decor, professional dancers, live music and more. The bride dazzled in a modern sculptural lehenga in icy blue while the groom kept it classy with a tuxedo as they exchanged rings to a volley of cheers. The couple and their loved ones took to the impressive stage to dance their hearts out as melodious music took over the night.
Haldi
The next day began with separate Haldi functions for the bride and groom, where their friends and families gathered around them for a heady dose of love and laughter as they prepped them with turmeric paste for their wedding. The bride’s intimate indoor function saw traditional decor of marigolds, while the groom’s outdoor soiree saw quirky decor of flowers, hangings, drapes, foliage and more.
Wedding
The Wedding was a grand celebration of love infused with traditions and family excitement. The groom arrived in great style accompanied by his exuberant baraat, but it was the bride’s royal entry that stole the show. Carried on a palki that followed a procession of lehenga-clad women carrying flaming torches, she looked no less than a queen, before dismounting and walking down the aisle with her family under a beautiful phoolon ki chadar. The couple pledged their love surrounded by their friends and family as they showered them with flowers and blessings.
