Wedding Planning
With storytelling at the heart of every celebration, Weddingz by Mindz crafted a wedding that balanced large-scale entertainment with meaningful personal moments. Every event carried its own identity while remaining connected through the overarching #Ashflix narrative, ensuring guests experienced something fresh at every turn.
Reflecting on the vision, Himanshu Kothari from Weddingz by Mindz shares, “Our goal was never to create larger-than-life experiences for the sake of scale. Every concept had to reflect Harshita and Akash’s personalities while giving guests a reason to feel emotionally invested. We wanted each event to feel like a new episode that advanced the story.”
Adding to this, Akansh Jain says, “The biggest challenge was ensuring that every celebration felt completely different while maintaining one cohesive narrative. From entertainment and technology to décor and guest experiences, every element was designed to surprise without ever losing sight of the couple’s journey.”

Wedding Functions
Welcome Lunch
The celebrations began with a heartfelt welcome lunch titled ‘Kahani Humare Ghar Ki’, setting a warm and emotional tone for the festivities ahead. Instead of conventional introductions, the afternoon brought together family stories, speeches, performances and personal anecdotes that gave guests a glimpse into the lives and relationships that shaped the couple.
Styled with elegant daytime décor in soft, welcoming hues, the setting encouraged conversation and connection. One of the most memorable moments came when Ralph and Simba, the couple’s beloved dogs, were introduced as cherished members of their respective families, drawing smiles and applause from everyone present. Personal, intimate and filled with genuine emotion, the afternoon beautifully laid the foundation for the celebrations to come.

Sangeet
As evening fell, the mood shifted dramatically with The Great Indian Wedding Show, a Sangeet inspired by the format and energy of The Kapil Sharma Show. The celebration transformed the venue into a lively television-style production complete with immersive entertainment and larger-than-life performances. The décor centred around a grand theatrical stage designed for storytelling, complemented by striking installations, dramatic lighting and elaborate themed entrances. The couple made a spectacular entrance by emerging from beneath the stage, instantly setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Family performances, international artists, aerial acts and carefully choreographed sequences brought the couple’s journey to life, while the groom’s aerial-inspired entry and the bride’s emotionally charged performance became standout moments.

Carnival
The following morning introduced Squidland, one of the wedding’s most imaginative experiences, inspired by the contrasting worlds of Squid Game and Disneyland. The festivities began even before guests reached the venue, with Squid Game-inspired mascots roaming the resort and inviting everyone to join the celebrations. The atmosphere soon came alive with a vibrant parade featuring vintage cars, Disney-inspired characters, themed performers, live music and bursts of colourful fog. Fantasy-inspired installations, colourful carnival elements and interactive gaming zones transformed the venue into a lively entertainment park. Guests competed in themed challenges throughout the afternoon, creating an experience that blurred the line between a wedding celebration and an immersive adventure.

Baraat and Varmala
The wedding day began with Band Baaja Baaraat, where the groom’s procession transformed into a lively celebration of Indian pop culture. Divided into four immersive zones, the Baraat featured a series of celebrity lookalikes stationed across the procession, bringing iconic personalities to life at every turn. Each zone paid tribute to a different cinematic and musical universe, from Retro Bollywood and Punjabi music to South Indian cinema and contemporary Bollywood blockbusters. Guests encountered familiar faces including Amitabh Bachchan, Diljit Dosanjh, Pushpa and Salman Khan lookalikes, alongside themed décor, performers and interactive experiences that kept the energy soaring. The procession culminated in a high-energy finale set to Om Shanti Om, bringing both families together in celebration.

The mood then shifted to grandeur for the Varmala, inspired by the Netflix series The Royals. A striking two-level stage came alive through large-scale projection mapping, with each of the seven promises illustrated through immersive visual storytelling. Akash made a regal entrance before welcoming Harshita, whose emotional walk down the aisle, accompanied by a heartfelt voiceover, became one of the evening’s defining moments. Their Varmala unfolded amidst projection-mapped visuals, dancers, fireworks and dramatic lighting, while a specially curated Ganga Aarti added a spiritual touch to the spectacle.

Pheras
The celebrations concluded with a Made in Heaven-themed Phera ceremony, where soft floral décor, an elegant mandap and a muted colour palette created an atmosphere of quiet intimacy. In contrast to the high-energy celebrations that preceded it, the ceremony embraced understated elegance, allowing the sacred rituals and heartfelt moments between the couple and their loved ones to take centre stage, bringing the festivities to a meaningful close.
