Wedding Functions
Welcome
The welcome set the tone by introducing guests to Kerala’s cultural identity in a way that felt immersive yet easy. Guests were greeted with spice malas made from star anise and cinnamon, a subtle reference to the region’s spice trade. Mohiniyattam dancers at the entrance created a graceful visual element, while the beats of Chenda Melam added energy. Pookavadi performers brought movement and colour, making the entry feel lively and festive. Inside, the decor featured a Kerala-inspired installation with a traditional boat styled using banana leaves and mogra malas. This doubled as a photo spot, with a vintage-style instant photography setup adding a memorable takeaway for guests. Tender coconut water and filter coffee completed the experience, keeping the mood relaxed and welcoming.
Backwater Gathering
The celebrations began on a quieter note with an intimate gathering by the backwaters. The setup was minimal and allowed the natural surroundings to stand out. An open layout and soft lighting created a comfortable setting for guests to reconnect, while a flying buffet encouraged movement and interaction. A subtle highlight of the evening was the couple’s wedding logo reflected on the water, creating a simple but effective visual moment that marked the beginning of the celebrations.
Carnival
The carnival brought a shift in energy, with a vibrant, interactive setting that was high on engagement. The decor used bold colours and playful elements to create a lively atmosphere. The couple’s entry across the backwaters on a speedboat, paired with coloured fireworks, set the tone for the evening. As they arrived, Pookavadi performers added to the spectacle, while interactive games and activity zones kept guests engaged throughout. The overall setup encouraged participation and ensured that the celebration felt dynamic and inclusive.

Sangeet
The ballroom was designed to resemble a starlit space, with layered lighting and suspended elements creating depth. The decor remained elegant and uncluttered, allowing the performances to take centre stage. Family performances, along with the couple’s dance, kept the energy high through the evening.

Haldi
The Haldi embraced a bright and culturally rooted setting that felt festive and easy. The decor featured banana leaves, yellow florals and traditional elements that kept the look grounded and cohesive. The colour palette remained consistent, creating a cheerful daytime setting. Interactive elements such as banana-leaf hats and gajras added a playful touch, while the Sadhya served on banana leaves became a key part of the experience.
Wedding
The wedding ceremony was set in a garden, keeping the design clean and focused on the setting. Greenery formed the base of the decor, with subtle detailing that added to the overall look without making it feel heavy. Personalised elements like elaichi malas and printed roses added a thoughtful layer to the baraat welcome.
Reception
The ballroom decor followed a refined approach, using lighting and minimal elements to create a warm atmosphere. The focus remained on the couple and their guests, allowing the evening to unfold naturally.
