Showcasing their affinity for nature, Ishani Ghadiyali and Akshit Doshi’s wedding in Nashik was not just a celebration of love but togetherness as they hosted festivities away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With their wedding festivities held at Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Nashik where the guests indulged themselves thoroughly and rejuvenated their senses, their union was picture-perfect. Photographing the festivities was WeddingSutra Favorite – Seventy By Two who expertly captured every bit of romance, playfulness and laughter!
How They Met
Despite sharing many mutual friends, the couple hadn’t interacted before. However, a chance meeting during the lockdown resulted in long conversations and friendship leading to love! After dating for a while, the couple decided to get hitched for life.
Wedding Planning
For photographing their wedding, they chose Seventy By Two who impressed the couple with their dedication. The happy bride shares, “It was extremely easy to coordinate with team Seventy By Two. They were constantly on their toes, moving back and forth busily while communicating with the planning team and the choreographers to get every detail right. They gave us space when needed and delivered the final product much before timeline, they understood exactly what we needed and when!”
Weddings Functions
Welcome
Ishani shares, “The 3-day celebrations began with a warm welcome at Nashik. A whimsical affair, the event was attended by approximately 250-300 guests who had driven down from Mumbai. For the couple and their guests, this event was an icebreaker that urged everyone to relax and enjoy the serenity of their surroundings.”
Mehendi
The Mehndi celebration called for a bright floral, boho chic decor that merged beautifully with the pastel dress code that everyone followed. Ishani and Akshit made a memorable entry on an ATV adorned with flowers and were given a warm welcome by the spectators. Filled with games and an entertaining face-off between the bride and groom’s teams, the energy was high at this event.
Engagement and Sangeet
Following the theme ‘Sky full of Stars’, the couple’s Engagement and Sangeet was a glamorous one. Ishani shares, “This event had everyone grooving to their favorite tracks. We made our entry through an LED split screen dancing together. Lit up by spotlights and huge signage that read ‘IshAKzaade’ – their wedding hashtag, everyone partied till the wee hours of the night!”
Haldi
Bamboo tents, marigolds and oversized blooms made the duo’s sunlit Haldi an unforgettable affair. With an entrance that left the guests awestruck, the Haldi had everyone enjoying the fresh air while ambling on the vast lawn. Additionally, floral showers and playful friends made this celebration a cheery one.
Wedding
The sundowner Wedding was serene yet exquisite as it was hosted under a big banyan tree decorated with fairy lights and chandeliers along with white and pink floral ladis. As Ishani walked down the aisle towards Akshit, sparks flew in the air as their loved ones cheered on!
Exuding an ethereal aura, the mandap was the center of attention. On each guest’s chair was a bell and flower petal potlis which they showered on the couple during the Phere.
