Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, Jahnavi Shrivastav and Alok Das’s wedding was a seamless blend of colour, elegance, and celebration. Planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Pleasant Weddings, every event unfolded with artistic finesse and meticulous coordination, reflecting the couple’s love for vibrance and serenity.
Wedding Planning
The couple envisioned a celebration that mirrored their personalities—warm, joyful, and deeply connected to nature. To bring their vision to life, the team at Pleasant Weddings worked closely with them to conceptualise unique themes for each function. “We wanted to ensure that each event had its own distinct visual language, yet together they told one cohesive story,” shares Tushar Gupta from Pleasant Weddings. “The goal was to balance grandeur with emotion, creating spaces that felt both beautiful and personal.”
For the Haldi, the couple desired a colourful, laughter-filled poolside celebration with a free-spirited vibe. The Sangeet was imagined as a night of sparkle and music against a stunning mountain backdrop. At the same time, the wedding itself was envisioned as an intimate riverside ceremony bathed in natural light and minimalist bohemian charm.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
The festivities began with a lively poolside Haldi that radiated sunshine and happiness. The décor featured bright marigolds, playful drapes, and rustic details that perfectly captured the spirit of joy. The highlight of the day was the phoolon ki holi, where guests showered the couple with petals, laughter, and cheer. Interactive games and spontaneous dance moments turned the morning into a burst of colour and camaraderie.
Sangeet
Set on an open terrace with panoramic mountain views, the Sangeet was a glamorous evening that sparkled under the night sky. The décor combined contemporary elegance with fun, featuring mirror elements, fairy lights, and a chic stage setup. As performances unfolded and music filled the air, the atmosphere transformed into one of pure revelry. Guests danced till late into the night, with the event’s energy perfectly matching the couple’s exuberant spirit.
Wedding
The wedding ceremony was a serene celebration by the riverside, enveloped in nature’s calm. Daytime pheras under clear blue skies added a soft, divine glow to the occasion. The décor reflected the couple’s minimalist aesthetic—white and gold tones intertwined with delicate floral details and bohemian accents. A highlight was the Baraat on wheels, a modern twist that added a touch of playfulness to the traditional procession.
