How They Met
Jasleen shares, “We were first introduced by our parents and in the first meeting itself, we immediately clicked! Both of us were all set to get engaged in May 2020 but the pandemic threw our plans into chaos. Thankfully, things eased down a bit and we flew down from Canada to tie the knot amidst our family and friends.”
Wedding Planning
Knowing how important it is to have a reliable squad when planning a wedding, Jasleen and Hartaj roped in seasoned vendors who’d understand their vision. She shares, “Both of us have always wanted an intimate wedding in an outdoor setting. And with that in mind, we chose the decor and the location accordingly. At each event the decor was unique and exclusive.”
On the photography front, the couple handed over the reins to Sunny Dhiman Photography who used his expertise to give the couple a treasure trove of memories. The happy bride shares, “ Working with team Sunny Dhiman Photography was an extremely stress-free and smooth process. They were accommodating, punctual and professional at every turn! I would happily work with them again!”
Weddings Functions
Engagement
Replete with blooms and lit up by fairy lights that twinkled softly, the couple’s ring ceremony emanated grandeur. Bright and sparkling chandeliers adorned the place, and this function witnessed all family members converging together to celebrate the couple’s first step towards a happy future. Adding an extra dash of glitz to the venue was a gazebo canopied by foliage with an LED sign that read ‘Written in the stars’.
Sangeet
Stepping up the glamor quotient, the sangeet was encapsulated in traditional grandeur with white and gold decor that captivated the senses. Equipped with a colossal stage that had an LED backdrop and quirky flamingo-themed decor elements, the sangeet had everyone dancing up a storm on the dancefloor.
Mehndi
Following a pink and yellow color palette which was accentuated with marigold garlands, Jasleen’s mehndi was a visual treat. Seated atop a comfy swing, the bride radiated joy as she got henna patterned on her palms and shared banter with her gal pals. Post the event, a chooda ceremony was also held at the same venue.
Wedding
The entrance was beautifully furnished, flanked by blooms placed on minimalistic white pillars, the duo’s wedding ceremony brimmed with elegance. Hosted under a canopy of sheer white drapes and flowers, the big day was peppered with emotional moments as the couple ushered in a new chapter in their lives. The bride shares, “Our wedding took place at a private farm with 200 guests and was then followed by an elaborate lunch. The decor was pastel-themed which aptly complemented the lush greenery in the background beautifully.”
