Juvhi and Divij, Fateh Vilas by Fateh Collection
From a vibrant mehndi to a whimsical floral mandap, every celebration at this destination wedding reflected effortless elegance and joy.
Some love stories begin with a chance encounter, while others grow quietly over the years. For Juvhi and Divij, it all started in the eighth grade during tuition classes at Jamnabai Narsee School. Having grown up together, their bond evolved naturally into a lifelong partnership. Capturing every heartfelt moment of their celebrations was the team at WeddingSutra Favorite – WhatKnot, whose effortless storytelling and eye for detail beautifully documented the couple’s journey from childhood friends to soulmates.

How They Met
“We went to Jamnabai Narsee School and met in the 8th grade during tuitions. We’ve pretty much grown up together since then,” shares the couple. What began as a school-day friendship gradually transformed into a relationship built on years of shared memories, making their wedding celebrations all the more meaningful.
Wedding Planning
Juvhi and Divij entrusted their memories to the team at WhatKnot, who instantly put them at ease with their warm and collaborative approach. From the pre-wedding shoot to the wedding festivities, the photographers focused on capturing authentic moments while ensuring the couple felt comfortable throughout.
“It was such a fun and easy experience working with the team. We felt very comfortable with them right from the pre-wedding shoot. Divij and I had to step out of our comfort zones for a few shots, but they made the whole process feel very natural and enjoyable,” shares Juvhi. “My favourite shoot was the pre-sangeet one. The way they used the monument, along with the outfits and lighting, turned out beautifully. The pictures are honestly incredible.”

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The Mehndi celebration unfolded in a cheerful, laid-back setting designed for guests to unwind and enjoy. Bright accents, comfortable lounge seating and vibrant floral details created an inviting atmosphere that encouraged conversations, laughter and impromptu dance sessions.
Juvhi shares, “The mehendi, for sure, was my favorite. It was the most relaxed and fun. We got to fully enjoy everything, from eating and drinking to dancing and spending time with both families and friends.”

Haldi
The Haldi embraced understated elegance with minimalist white décor accented by fresh green foliage. The clean aesthetic allowed the joyous energy of the ceremony to take centre stage as family and friends enthusiastically joined in, creating a morning filled with playful moments, laughter and candid memories.

Sangeet
A rich palette of red blooms set the tone for an evening of traditional glamour. Lanterns, diyas and sparkling chandeliers illuminated the venue, creating a warm and festive ambience. The couple’s grand entrance perfectly complemented the dramatic setting, kicking off a night of energetic performances, celebrations and unforgettable moments on the dance floor.

Wedding
The wedding ceremony was set against a dreamy backdrop centred around a whimsical mandap adorned with clouds of gypsophila interspersed with pristine white blooms. Vintage silver furnishings, crystal hangings and delicate bird motifs added layers of old-world charm to the décor. The result was an ethereal setting that felt romantic, elegant and timeless as Juvhi and Divij exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones.

Advice For Couples
Juvhi shares, “Pick the right partner, of course. But honestly, the family you’re marrying into makes everything so much easier. Having that support changes the entire experience. I also spoke to my sister about everything, which really helped me stay calm.”
Divij keeps it simple: “Let everyone else do the work.”
