Encapsulating the awe-inspiring spirit of Punjabi weddings, each function of Karishma and Arun’s grand nuptials were a feast for the eyes. From the sunlit mehndi to the dazzling wedding ceremony, each event had a unique concept that was flawlessly executed. Capturing this duo’s magnificent union was WeddingSutra Favorite – Vows and Tales who seized every emotional moment in expressive frames that would last a lifetime.
Wedding Venue
Held in the lap of luxury, the couple’s engagement took place at the stately Maharaja Grand in Ludhiana where the couple made full use of the spacious and well-appointed interiors. For the Youngster’s Party, the Sky Lyn Ludhiana proved to be the perfect spot with its breezy interiors. Making a bold and dazzling statement, Stallone Manor was the perfect venue for their lavish wedding which included a long guest list.
Wedding Planning
With Varun Baweja Designs acing on the planning and decor front, everything fell into place with absolute ease. The photography team of Vows and Tales left no stone unturned to get the best shots of the couple as they basked in the love of their family and friends. Makeup artists Bhumika Oswal, Amrit Kaur, and Shahid Naar worked their superior skills on Karishma and made sure she put her best foot forward in each shot.
Weddings Functions
Engagement
Following a pristine white floral theme, the engagement venue exuded dreamy vibes and was the perfect setup for Karishma and Arun to declare their love for each other. Replete with white floral hangings, lush green foliage, and crystal chandeliers the decor looked straight out of a romantic fairytale.
Glowing in her beige lehenga Karishma looked picture-perfect beside Arun who wore an embroidered white bandhgala.
Cocktail Party
With a versatile red, gold and white color palette the cocktail party dazzled brightly thanks to the graceful crystal chains that hung from the ceiling. The gorgeous entrance tunnel that was created with a plethora of vibrant blooms and glowing lanterns warmly invited the guests as they made their way into the spacious interiors which had a checkered floor peppered with multiple seating areas.
For the occasion, Karishma chose a scarlet red sequined lehenga and posed happily with her to-be-husband who opted for a black and gold embroidered bandhgala.
Haldi
An indoor ceremony, the groom’s Haldi was full of cheer and fun as he was playfully smeared by his family and friends. Wearing a pure white kurta, Arun’s attire contrasted delightfully with the vibrant yellow of the turmeric.
Youngster’s Party
For the ‘Youngsters Party,’ the decor was filled with floral arrangements and fairy lights that lent their soft glow to the evening. With quirky photo opportunity spots, the venue echoed with the young crowd who took plenty of selfies that would remind them of the joyful evening forever.
Mehndi
Sunlit and peppy, the Mehndi had a distinctly feminine and laid-back vibe with its casual seating areas and rustic decor elements. Surrounded by greenery, under the canopy of an azure sky, Karishma looked stunning in her rose-hued lehenga with golden embroidery. Adorning her forehead, hands and ears were matching pink floral jewelry that complemented the decor.
Wedding
With multi-tiered chandeliers, reflective dining tables, and plush carpets the wedding decor encapsulated extravagance and a vibrant Punjabi spirit. As the bride made her entrance surrounded by sparklers under the phoolon ki chadar, the spacious venue made sure everyone got an equal view of her journey towards Arun. The highlight of the evening, however, was the stage where Karishma and Arun posed against a backdrop of red and white flowers.
For her big day, Karishma chose a heavy golden lehenga and paired it with a passa and kundan jewelry. Arun also wasn’t far behind and opted for a white and gold printed sherwani for the evening.
