Right from the word go, Khushi and Kanishq’s wedding, was more than just a celebration of the couple. It was a thoughtfully curated, experience where guests were welcomed into the couple’s story. Planned with warmth and authenticity by WeddingSutra Favorite – Niche Events by Priyal Mehta, the three-day celebration started with a warm guest welcome and the festivities unfolded as an immersive celebration with customized experiences.

Wedding Planning
Priyal Mehta of Niche Events by Priyal Mehta says, “With 600–700 guests coming together, every event—from the immersive haldi to the soulful Sajan Ghot, the cinematic sangeet, and the dreamy varmala—was designed not just as a function, but as an experience. A celebration where tradition met creativity, and every moment told a story worth remembering.”
With temple-inspired South Indian décor, the haldi moved seamlessly into a garba night and the next day saw guests receiving customized “entry” tickets for the Sangeet night, where popcorn and samosas were as much as a highlight as the family performances, all leading up to the fairy tale varmala ceremony.
Wedding Functions
Welcome
The journey began right at check-in, where guests were welcomed with warmth and intention—draped in elegant shawls, greeted with fresh malas, and delighted with customized chocolates. “It wasn’t just a welcome, it was the first glimpse into the world that had been created for them,” says Priyal.
Haldi and Garba Night
The celebrations opened with a South Indian-themed haldi. With temple-inspired décor, banana leaves, mogra fragrances, and a striking yellow palette, the ceremony beautifully blended tradition with playfulness.
As evening set in, the mood shifted to high energy with a vibrant garba night. Twirling outfits, rhythmic beats, and an electric dance floor brought everyone together, making it a night full of color, music, and joy.

Myra and Sajan Ghot
The second day began on an emotional and traditional note with the Myra ceremonies hosted by both families—deeply personal and rich in cultural significance.
Following this was the Sajan Ghot, a beautifully curated traditional sit-down lunch where 125 guests dined together at a time. This experience added an intimate and authentic touch, allowing guests to slow down and truly connect.

Sangeet
By night, the celebration transformed into a glamorous Bollywood Sangeet. Designed like a premium movie premiere, guests found personalized “tickets” placed in their rooms. With popcorn, samosas, dazzling performances, and a high-energy atmosphere, the night was nothing short of spectacular.

Wedding and Varmala
The final day brought with it a sense of calm, beauty, and emotion. As the morning wedding unfolded in soft, golden light, Khushi and Kanishq exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones.
One of the most magical highlights was their dream Varmala — beautifully envisioned and brought to life exactly as the couple had imagined. It felt straight out of a fairytale, adding a surreal and romantic charm to the ceremony, making that moment truly unforgettable.
