Kirti Patwari and Shubham Kedia, The Westin Pushkar Resort & Spa, Pushkar
A grand tapestry of colors and traditions, this wedding immersed the guests in a whirlwind of cultural richness and elegance.
Content Writer Kirti Patwari and Textile Entrepreneur Shubham Kedia’s unforgettable wedding was infused with vibrant hues and heartfelt emotions true to the sense of Pushkar City. Renowned for their meticulous attention to detail, WeddingSutra Favorite – Mosaic Events by Raj Batra brought to life a royal celebration that was nothing short of spectacular. Witness the magic unfold.
Wedding Planning
Kirti shares, “We wanted the decor to reflect our event themes in a subtle yet effective way. We were not particular about the installations or the specifics of the decor and had trusted the event team with their ideas. We wanted the aesthetics to come together in a way that makes the perfect backdrop for our clicks and that our guests feel the wedding spirit in the entire space.”
Reflecting on their experience with Team Mosaic Events by Raj Batra, she adds, “We witnessed the most efficient and smooth operations at all our events by the team. The guest experience and décor exceeded our expectations and the entire set-up was as dreamy as it could get. We were assisted (and calmed) by members of the team the whole time. It couldn’t get any better.”
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The revelries unfolded with a chic Bohemian mehndi soiree, imagined in an earth palette. The decor saw tons of pampas grass, dried flowers, rattan baskets, macrame art, crocheted cushions, 3D paper flowers, and a lot more.
Welcome Dinner
The festivities were amped up with a dose of Bollywood fever as the Welcome Dinner came around. Shimmering disco balls, fairy lights, and flowers lit up the space with the richness of red and gold, while a board of marquee lights and posters of iconic Indian movies welcomed the guests for a night of music and mingling.
Mayra
The next day began with a Mayra function, infused with all the vibrance and rich heritage of Rajasthan. Hues of orange, pink, and green soaked the occasion with a sense of tradition, with stunning mirror work dupattas on rustic charpai beds, embroidered cushions, local crafts, flowers, and a lot more.
Sangeet
The evening was bedecked with the celestial magic of a starlit night, brought to life with the whimsical decor of mesh clouds, fairy lights, neon flowers, and a lot more. Ethereal hues of blue and purple set a dream vibe for a night of music, dancing, and a whole lot of enjoyment.
Haldi
The final morning dawned with the vibrance of yellow blooms and the artistry of Dolce and Gabbana-inspired decor. Soft drapes fluttered above while the space was covered in hues of white and blue in the form of intricately patterned ceramic plates, pottery, vases, and more. Pops of yellow blooms added a touch of freshness and connected the overall ambiance to the tradition of haldi. The ceremony was also given a quirky feel with the inclusion of brightly dressed carnival artists.
Wedding and Reception
A magical confluence of roses and gilded artistry, the wedding was straight out of a fairytale. Plush floral arrangements, antique chandeliers and lamps, sleek gold structures, and rich upholstery set an ambiance of royalty and grandeur. The couple arrived amidst a grand display of professional dancers and sparklers and exchanged their garlands in front of a majestic statue of Buddha to great applause.
