Kriti and Vatsal’s union was an apt reflection of their love for understated glamour. Captured by WeddingSutra Favourite – Sutra Snapperz, the wedding was filled with moments of cheer, laughter and love which the photography team encapsulated beautifully!
How They Met
Kriti shares, “We both were at almost the same place in life, in terms of having completed our academic milestones and attaining a certain level of professional satisfaction. However, we knew something was lacking. We both yearned for someone to come back home to, to cherish our accomplishments and also to share our disappointments. At this point, a common friend played a little cupid and shot a tiny arrow at us by forwarding each other’s contact numbers. To my delight, he slid into my DM and thus initiated a series of WhatsApp conversations which escalated to phone conversations and eventually long, delightful video calls which then turned into dates.”
Wedding Planning
Capturing the precious moments of their union was Sutra Snapperz who impressed the couple with their skills and dedication. The couple shares, “Sutra Snapperz are outstanding at their work. Since the time we contacted them, they did their best to understand us as a couple and what we wanted, And then, they did their own research and homework for us. They were accommodating to our requests and punctual when it comes to delivering products. We had an amazing time with the entire team. They understood our vibes and worked exactly according to that. We are very happy with the wedding pictures as they captured the very essence of our wedding!”
Wedding Functions
Sangeet
For the sangeet, the glamour quotient was at an all-time high with the theme set as ‘sparkling’. Gold sequins, dainty blooms and shades of purple dominated the color palette. Flanked by their friends, the couple danced their way into the event and later performed a graceful waltz on stage.
Haldi
Sunflowers, blue pottery-like mosaics and citrus fruits were used to decorate the couple’s yellow-hued haldi event. With a brass urli for the couple taking center stage backed by yellow florals and lush foliage, the indoor event paved the way for fun moments!
Wedding
Continuing to express their love for glamour, the couple’s wedding flaunted a sequined ceiling which reflected their love for modern aesthetics. Keeping the sequined ceiling as the centre of attention, all the other decor elements were minimalistic. Hosted indoors, the couple looked stunning together as they exchanged varmalas with cold pyros bursting to celebrate the moment.
Advice For Couples
Having experienced how hectic planning a wedding can be, Kriti shares her take on what brides should keep in mind as they tie the knot. She says, “Keep a 5-6 hours time gap between getting ready to function so that you have enough time for photographs. Make a mood board for each function, keep drinking water and it’s okay if you get a bit late. But don’t forget to take good pictures!”
