Nestled in the lap of nature, Mansha and Jaskirat’s wedding was a modern one with a regal twist hosted at Taj Corbett Resort & Spa. Brimming with warm moments and joy, the couple’s nuptials were captured by WeddingSutra Favorite – LensEyeZia Productions.
How they met
Mansha and Jaskirat first crossed paths at the age of three in pre-school. And, as years passed by, the duo started to know each other better and grew closer. Despite the ebbs and flows of life, as fate would have it, they kept coming back to each other.
Wedding Venue
When it came to their wedding, Mansha and Jaskirat wanted the best of hospitality. Needless to say, they chose Taj Corbett Resort & Spa where their guests were indulged while the couple could savor each moment of the wedding without a worry. Jaskirat shares, “We’ve been to the place a couple of times before we finalized the venue for our wedding. The hotel staff treated us like family whenever we went there, even before the wedding was finalized! There is a reputation that 5-star hotels don’t serve good food, but the food at Taj Corbett is amongst the best we’ve ever had. As for the beauty of the venue, nothing quite compares! The flowing river behind along with the giant mountain is a picture-perfect location for photos and wedding ceremonies.”
Wedding Planning
Mansha shares, “We divided the two days – the 20th and the 21st into different categories. The 20th November was always supposed to be modern and glamorous. The 21st of November was supposed to be regal and ethnic. Keeping this in mind, we started picking out elements and vendors we wanted to get on board. One thing I loved about our entire setup – there were no surprises for us! Everything was selected and hand-picked by us, even the table tops!”

Mansha shares, “Right from the initial conversations to the final output, everything was flawless. The social media add-on was also worth every penny! I don’t think I can pinpoint any flaw so far in their processes, communication and output. Wedding Functions
Haldi
The couple shares, “For Haldi, we knew we had to do everything possible to make it the most fun event of the 2-day celebration. I think we pretty much succeeded in that as well! The cocktail and food menu, giveaways for guests, decor elements etc, were all decided keeping this in mind.”
Sangeet and Cocktail
The couple shares, “For cocktail and sangeet, we wanted to segregate between Sangeet and Cocktail night. Hence a separate outdoor indoor setup. We got a percussion artist onboard – who kept the guests engaged while the LED lights created the perfect ambience!”
Wedding
Jaskeerat shares, “For the wedding, we wanted a more traditional setup. Both of us love a regal wedding setup, and that’s what we aimed for. Mansha’s entry had been planned in my head for the past 6 months, it was going to be a mix of ‘Falling in Love’ and another song Mansha had selected. Little did I know that it would start with the most lovely speech from her. It was a total surprise for me and almost everyone else. The decor and food menu, once again, were selected keeping every element in mind.”
Advice For Couples
The couple shares, “Honestly, it’s going to be a complete mess, but you are going to love every moment of it. It’s going to drain out all your energy and lead to sticky situations but there is light at the end of the tunnel! When you look back, you’re going to remember everything with a big smile. Be with each other, and don’t forget you’re on the same team after all.”
