Mansi and Abhishek, Goa
Minimalistic yet stunning, this bride’s delicate pastel pink and mint blue wedding lehenga was perfect for her beachside wedding.
An accidental meeting resulted in Mansi and Abhishek striking up a conversation which eventually led these two kindred souls to become partners for life. Hosted by the Goan beachside and surrounded by exquisite views of the sea, this duo’s wedding was beautifully photographed by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Wedding Salad who made sure every shot was replete with emotion and joy that the couple felt as they tied the knot.
How they met
Mansi recollects, “We first met by accident on a Game Of Thrones quiz night where Abhishek and his friend Bunty won the quiz, while my friend Natalia and me came in third. After the quiz was done, Natalia and I were standing outside the bar after collecting our winnings when Abhishek walked up to me and started a conversation. Later that night, he asked me for my number and a few days later, we went out on our first date.”
Wedding Planning
Sharing her process behind bringing all the events together, Mansi shares, “Honestly, it was Abhishek, me and our friend Bunty who did most of the planning. Both of us always wanted a beach wedding and had complete clarity on how every event should proceed. Bunty took over the designing and we made mood boards, decided the venue, food, and everything else. Later, everything was brilliantly executed by team Crosscraft and Serrao. On the photography front, we chose The Wedding Salad who blew us away with their talent and professionalism. Working with them was extremely easy and not once did we feel any discomfort in front of the camera. The end result, safe to say, is absolutely amazing and we can’t stop gushing over our pictures.
Additionally, we also made sure that every single element has a personalized touch to it and a lot of thought was put into getting it right. But my favorite amongst it all were the personalized anti-hangover pills that even had the wedding hashtag on the box.”
Weddings Functions
Mehndi
Breezy and sunlit, the Mehndi function was a cheerful affair where the bride was greeted lovingly by her loved ones under an arch of flowers and ribbons. With cat-eye glasses protecting her eyes from the glaring sun as she got henna patterned on her palms, Mansi looked stunning in a dark green gown while Abhishek complemented her in a floral kurta.
Haldi
A simple and traditional event, the Haldi was hosted on a lush lawn under the bright sunshine. Swathed in shades of yellow and vibrant florals, everyone was in a playful mood as they slathered the bride and groom with haldi to get them glowing for the big day.
Sangeet
Replete with stunning dance performances and foot-tapping beats, the Sangeet function had everyone shaking a leg regardless of their age. Dominated by the colossal stage where the duo’s family and friends performed effortlessly, this function left nothing to the imagination with its ornate grandeur.
Wedding
“We enjoyed every single one of the functions but in all honesty, the phere remains my favorite! Everything was absolutely picture perfect and looked magical against the lush natural backdrop. The pastel color palette we chose worked beautifully in sync with the sunset and we tied the knot in utter happiness.” shares the bride.
Reception
Bringing their celebration to an end on a high note, the reception was filled to the brim with glitz and glamour as Mansi and Abhishek celebrated their first evening as man and wife. Decorated with bright vintage bulbs and following a peach and pink color palette that struck a delightful contrast with the rich green lawn, this function dazzled brightly under the dark sky.
