Mayank Chaudhary and Kamya Jain, Fairmont Jaipur
This destination wedding raised the grandeur stakes high with a three-day wedding with larger-than-life themes, celebrity performances and impeccable hospitality.
When it came to extravagance, Kamya Jain and Mayank Chaudhary’s wedding held nothing back! Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Event Soul, each event steeped in grandeur as the celebrations sported meticulous details, intricate choreographies and stunning themes.
Wedding Planning
Hospitality and grandeur, both, took the front seat at this union. Brimming with larger-than-life designs, Celebrity DJs, an array of performances by professional dance troupes, high-energy entertainers, fireworks and spa sessions for the entire span of three days – it’s safe to say that the team at Event Soul went above and beyond!
Rohit Chheda from Event Soul shares, “The wedding had already been postponed twice and this wedding was planned during lockdown which made it a bit difficult for many of us to execute everything smoothly. But, thankfully, we were able to go ahead and have a grand Indian wedding with the help of our lovely couple and their families who were very understanding and supportive.”
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
The festivities kicked off with a quiet yet vibrant welcome dinner where the guests were given a flavour of Rajasthani hospitality. Punctuated by the beats of the drum and decorated with bright red traditional parasols – the guests were welcomed like royalty to the wedding venue.
Engagement
With the engagement event happening on Valentine’s Day, the event was slated to be filled with romance and glamour. Dominated by a purple colour palette, the festivities kicked off with the couple stepping out of a golden globe-like structure with pyros popping around them. The after-party that followed also stayed true to the occasion of Valentine’s Day with a white and red decor theme.
Carnival
Hosted by the poolside, the colours of the carnival reflected the shades of its surroundings. Accentuated by shades of blue that were set off by pops of yellow, the cutwork canopy along with foliage put everyone in a relaxing mood. With a ‘Rajasthani Blue Pottery’ theme – the carnival also included a high-octane entry by the couple with colourful pyros. To further entertain the guests, foot massage chairs along with henna block art stalls were also included in the event.
Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the glamour stakes were raised high! A colossal stage, a multitude of professional dancers, contemporary chandeliers, and celebrity singer Sachet Parampara made the evening an unforgettable one. The groom’s father inspired awe as he entered on a six feet tall tiger while the couple entered riding in a vintage car.
Mamera
Following a ‘Flamingo’ theme, the Mamera sported different hues of pink and blue. A ritual where the bride’s maternal uncle bestows gifts on the couple, Kamya and Mayank’s Mamera was just as grand as the other events with a vast dancefloor, boho decor elements and furnishings upholstered with ethnic prints.
Wedding and Reception
For the wedding and reception, nothing but perfection would do! The celebrations kicked off with an hour-long baraat that covered a kilometer and burst with an array of fireworks. And, for the varmala, A Spiritual Concept of Shiv Parvati Blessing the couple in form of Video Mapping on the hotel façade (1st time ever done at Fairmont) covering the area of over 8000 Sq. ft. along with 24 dancers celebrated the moment along with three minutes of continuous fireworks after the couple exchanged garlands. The Reception stage was not less than a Mahal complimenting the look of the décor created with over 2000 candles.
After the wedding, the celebration swiftly took on a more glamorous turn with the reception being decorated with ten thousand candles that were in tandem with the event’s regal theme.
