Mayoor and Yuktee, FIVE Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

Mayoor and Yuktee pulled off their lavish wedding celebrations at the luxurious FIVE Palm Jumeirah in Dubai with well-planned events, from a cocktail night to a traditional wedding ceremony. Here, we share details from their love story and highlights from the nuptials planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Evolve Weddings and beautifully captured by another WeddingSutra Favorite – CineLove Productions.

How We Met
“Words can’t do justice to the wonder that is love. Our first meeting was set up by both our families and the rest is history. Our destinies brought us together, and from there, we embarked on a journey to get to know each other,” shares the happy bride. Mayoor found Yuktee’s understanding nature, ability to deal with his shortcomings and her unconditional support through every ideal phase attributes that he was looking for in his life partner. For Yuktee, it was a case of love at first sight!

Wedding Planning
“The wedding was planned and executed by Varun Dua of Evolve Weddings. We were impressed by their work and we knew we were going to sign them up for our nuptials. Their artistic approach helped conceptualize the whole event and truly transform the space. We started planning the wedding in advance with Varun Dua and during that time his team became like a family. They catered to all our requirements even before the wedding day including permissions for our pre-wedding shoot, complete management of artists for the big day and even the designs of the decor that made our big day so memorable for us.

Team Evolve Weddings even introduced us to CineLove Productions. Our bond with these talented photographers – which started off as a professional one – turned into something special during the pre-wedding shoot and the wedding as we got to interact with them on a daily basis. They are a group of highly talented individuals who work brilliantly as a team and ensure they cater to the host’s taste and requirements.”

Wedding Venue
“We shortlisted three options for the celebrations in Dubai but eventually chose FIVE Palm Jumeirah as our venue. Evolve weddings introduced us to the ultra-luxurious property. We not only fell in love with the property but also were quite impressed with the hospitality and the staff. The management was very supportive of our requirements and managed all events very well.”

Wedding Functions

Welcome Lunch
For the beautiful couple’s welcome lunch that kickstarted the festivities, Evolve Weddings conjured up a theme that reflected the couple’s personalities. Vibrant colors with hints of white and golden, right from the look of the couple to the feel of the ambiance made everything look regal. An ‘English Summer’ theme including warm lighting with delicate peach flowers and red floral upholstery complemented the subtle brown setting. Yuktee looked glamorous in a dark blue gown and Mayoor complemented his bride in a cream tuxedo.

Haldi
Creating a dreamy ambiance for Yuktee’s haldi function, Evolve Weddings went with a Moroccan/Arabic theme decor. The beautiful golden lamps emitting warm yellow light gave a dramatic effect when teamed with a darker shade of pink curtains, along with freshly plucked flowers and Jaipuri-embroidered cushion upholstery. Yuktee looked elegant in her yellow lacy attire that stole the show.

Cocktail
The cocktail party witnessed some added bling to the decor including the otherwise normal chairs. The golden swirls transformed the entire look of the seating arrangement and gave the much-needed shimmer to go with the glitzy setting. Playing with warm yellow lights, red roses on one side and tall metallic showpieces completed the vibrant setup. The guests grooved to Sophie’s music, and the couple made a grand stage entry with an enticing group of Latino dancers in the background.

Wedding
Mayoor and Yuktee’s wedding decor had a moody architectural element, adorned with crimson flowers complementing the warm lighting, and the golden-lit passage, amidst the dark sky in the backdrop. The groom made his entry in a grand Rolls-Royce while the beautiful bride looked ethereal in her Sabyasachi lehenga. The guests danced till the break of the dawn as Sukhbir mesmerized all with his energetic performance. Everything was aligned with the picture the couple had in mind for their big day.

Reception
The couple envisioned the dreamy impact that the decor would have, and they were right – the setting was perfect! Glamor, glitz and all things shiny were the order of the evening. Singer Adnan Sami performed at the reception and the guests grooved on his popup number. While the bride donned a dazzling Sabyasachi creation, Mayoor looked dapper in his Rohit Bal outfit.
