Giving their fairytale romance a happy ending, Mitali and Puneet Agarwal’s wedding hosted at the breathtakingly luxurious Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad was an intimate yet stunning affair. Despite the pandemic, this couple left no stone unturned to make the wedding of their dreams come true, and as a result, executed a wedding that looked straight out of the pages of a storybook.
How They Met
Mitali shares, “Puneet and me first crossed paths at our best friend’s wedding where I was from the bride’s side and he was from the groom’s. And as clichéd as it sounds, he tried his best to catch my attention throughout the wedding. For him, he says, it was love at first sight but for me, love blossomed gradually. I used to get butterflies in my stomach every time I saw him. And after a year of dating, we both realized the depth of our bond after which Puneet approached my parents to ask for my hand in marriage.”
Wedding Venue
After a lot of scouting, the couple zeroed in on the splendid Taj Falaknuma Palace that blew them away from the first glance itself. A former palace of the famous Nizam, this property was perfect for their intimate fairytale wedding with its pristine white exteriors and 32 acres of lush, welcoming landscape. Equipped with luxuriously appointed suites and 60 rooms, this property also gave them stunning views of the city below them as they tied the knot.
Wedding Planning
Although the duo had started planning their wedding well in advance, their plans were thrown into chaos due to the pandemic. But through sheer determination coupled with their love for each other, Mitali and Puneet planned a stylish intimate wedding that they’d always dreamed of. Additionally, knowing the importance of having seasoned vendors by their side as they took the plunge into marital bliss, their team comprised of Dinesh Tangulwar Photography and WeddingSutra Favourite – Tamanna Rooz who made sure that the bride looked stunning in each shot with her expert makeup skills.

Wedding
Surrounded by heritage architecture, Mitali and Puneet’s wedding started off with a boisterous baraat where the groom arrived at the palace on a carriage. Flanked by their loved ones, the duo then proceeded to exchange garlands on the balcony where they witnessed uninterrupted views of the city. Channeling her inner maharani, Mitali was a showstopper in her red and silver embroidered lehenga as she tied the knot with Puneet under a mandap adorned with purple flowers and peach drapes.
