Wedding Planning
The couple chose the magnificent Hotel Fairmont Jaipur as the backdrop for their dream wedding. They envisioned a celebration that was opulent yet classy and sophisticated and entrusted the team of Marriageuana to plan the wedding. Weddings by Bhawna Charan designed and executed every detail of the wedding decor to match their vision and ideas, going above and beyond to give them a celebration they would never forget. Taking inspiration from the couple’s raw ideas, they orchestrated intricately thought-out functions that included both locally sourced handicrafts and global design elements.

Wedding Functions
Mehendi
Kicking off the festivities was the lively Rajasthani mehndi soiree, bursting with joy and color. To introduce the glory and heritage of Rajasthan to the guests hailing from Chennai, the function was spread across 3 venues, each of which was imagined as an iconic Rajasthani city, rich in culture and architecture. The Jaipur pavilion reflected the beauty of the pink city with gota work, gudda guddi crafts, traditional kathputli, wooden crafts, and more. Imagined in a palette of blue and sandstone, the Jodhpur arena was filled with block prints and elephant motifs. The Jaisalmer pavilion celebrated the colors and crafts of the city with vibrant upholstery, local arts, camel-inspired decor, saafas, flower vases, and more.
Sangeet
The evening transitioned into a magical starry night with a glitzy Ballroom Sangeet. In a unique interpretation of the popular cocktail theme, the mesmerizing blue decor included a startling installation of 40 chandeliers suspended to conjure an infinite line of reflections to symbolise eternity and everlasting love. The stunning hues and sheen of crystals left the guests enamored while the walls and floor exhibited an artistic rendition of Van Gogh’s starry night painting. Filled with music and merriment, the evening was sparkle galore.
Haldi
A unique departure from the usual yellow decor, the haldi function was designed in soft pastel hues of blue and pink to reflect the theme of Ikigai. Auspicious elements of Japanese culture created a vibe of celebration, including giraffes – a symbol of good luck, fans – depicting blooming, and flowers to symbolize love, passion, joy, and happiness. Soft romantic flowers and upholstery added to the warmth of the occasion as the couple and their loved ones enjoyed the ritual.
Wedding
In true Rajasthani fashion, the wedding channeled royalty with grand entrances, stunning decor, and rousing festivities. Professional dancers, cold pyro, and musicians added to the grandeur of the couple’s varmala on the porch, followed by the mesmerizing pheras.
