Drawing from Rajasthan’s art forms, this destination wedding brought together a series of elegant, thoughtfully distinct celebrations.
Muskan and Akshat’s story began during their MBA, when a shared classroom and the news of being placed in the same city brought them closer. What started as a friendship between two strangers gradually grew into a relationship, bringing together Mumbai and Kolkata in Bangalore. They then chose Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar as the setting for their destination wedding, where they celebrated the start of their life together. WeddingSutra Favourite – Show Mania Events & Entertainment planned and designed the wedding, bringing together colour, culture, and personal details, with each celebration given its own identity.
Wedding Planning
The brief from Muskan and Akshat’s wedding was simple: create celebrations that felt personal and had a strong sense of character. Show Mania Events & Entertainment translated this into a series of distinct concepts, each reflecting a different aspect of the couple’s aesthetic. The Mayra drew from Rajasthan’s colours and traditions, the Sangeet embraced a more dramatic mood, the Haldi reimagined blue pottery through a contemporary lens, and the wedding and reception were pared back and elegant. Across the celebrations, the design remained cohesive while allowing each occasion to stand apart.
Wedding Functions
Mayra
The celebrations opened with a Mayra that drew from Rajasthan’s rich visual language. Vibrant hues, florals and detailed decor created a lively setting, while traditional crafts and motifs added a sense of place. The result was a celebration that felt rooted in its surroundings while remaining contemporary in its execution.
Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the mood shifted to something more dramatic. Sapphire blue formed the foundation of the decor, complemented by chandeliers, florals and sparkling accents. The lighting added depth and drama, while the couple’s performance brought the evening to life. The result was a glamorous celebration designed around music, movement and entertainment.
Haldi Carnival
The Haldi brought a playful change of pace. Inspired by blue pottery, the decor interpreted its familiar patterns and colours through a more contemporary, Western-inspired aesthetic. Soft florals, expressive prints and considered details gave the setting a fresh identity, creating an easygoing backdrop for the festivities.
Wedding and Reception
The wedding and reception moved towards a more restrained aesthetic, with ivory, white florals and crystal details defining the space. Sculptural floral arrangements and graceful arches added structure, while subtle textures brought dimension to the otherwise clean palette. Elegant without being elaborate, the final celebration brought the wedding to a polished close.
