An ethereal purple and pink mehndi to a rich red and white-hued wedding under the stars - this couple’s fusion wedding was an enchanting one.
Showcasing the best of modern grandeur and colour, Nandini Didwania, an interior designer’s wedding to Rachit Jain, a businessman was a dreamy one. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Plush Weddings, this fusion wedding exuded warmth while treating the eyes to stunning setups. Wedding Planning
Being a Marwari-Jain fusion wedding the couple was initially of the opinion that theirs would be a simple union. However, they were in for a pleasant surprise as their loved ones were high on energy and relished the seamlessly planned festivities. Rachit shares, “Both of us thought it would be a typical simple Jain-Marwari wedding. Turns out it was two days filled with high spirits and with a lot of fun!” Nandini adds, “Looking into the finer details of the wedding was so much fun! Plus we had an amazing planning team with Plush Weddings who used their expertise to guide us at every step of the way. They carefully looked into every aspect of the wedding and made the process so easy for us. And, with this being a half Marwari wedding, special attention was given to the food.”
For photography, the couple chose CineLove Productions who didn’t miss a single detail and managed to capture remarkable shots as the couple had a good time with their loved ones. Weddings Functions
Mehendi
Swathed in shades of purple and dusty rose, the poolside mehndi event was distinctly feminine. Dainty pink floral with quirky props peppered the venue while comfy velvet sofas had everyone lounging comfortably. A live band kept the guests entertained while they got their palms patterned with henna.
Sangeet
After the mehndi under the sunshine, the couple enjoyed a glitzy evening sangeet event. Keeping it subtle yet glam, the duo chose an off-white colour palette set off by green foliage. Hints of gold, disco balls, sequins and crystal chandeliers reflected the lights in the indoor venue, the Mansion Hall, to create a dazzling effect as everyone danced the night away.
Haldi
For the haldi, the couple decided to go for a yellow-hued decor replete with marigold garlands, a floral arch and a lotus cutwork backdrop. Hosted indoors within the Regency Ballroom, the haldi had everyone freely mingling as they took turns to slather the couple with haldi.
Wedding
Hosted in the chilly month of November in Delhi, the weather was traditional at heart. Red and white hues dominated the color palette and stood out against the backdrop of the night sky. The poolside wedding started off with a rousing baraat and as evening fell, the venue was lit up with fairy lights that gave every picture a serene backdrop.
