Wedding Planning
Akansh Jain and Himanshu Kothari from Weddingz By Mindz share, “The bride’s parents were heavily involved in conceptualising the wedding. They were very clear on how they wanted the decor of each function to be and the entertainment that was to be included. From the very first meeting, we were aligned with their ideas and our energies matched.”
Weddings Functions
Haldi
Akansh shares, “Haldi was an intimate event with around 200-250 guests in attendance. Decorated with the traditional marigold flowers and urlis, the couple had a gala time and enjoyed a floral shower too!”
Bhajan Sandhya
Hosted right before the Punjabi wedding, the Bhajan Sandhya was a traditional ceremony where spiritual hymns were sung. It was planned keeping the smallest of details in mind, like, the chandelier at the entrance, the diya backdrop and a stunning idol of the goddess. Additionally, numerous tuberoses added their fragrance and beauty to the event.
Sangeet
Himanshu shares, “A geometric tunnel lit up by LED lights left the guests awed at the entrance. And, once inside, the shimmery ceiling and the LED-lit stage amped up the glamour levels.
The couple entered in style with mists around their feet and dancers flanking them. The crowd had a blast during the sangeet with cocktails, the creative bartenders and a rolling in songs from the 90s to 2020s.”
Wedding
The wedding commenced with a baraat which was high spirited with the DJ playing groovy tunes. The groom entered the venue on a chariot with his friends cheering him on. After the baraat, the varamala ritual took place with the groom’s entrance flanked by dancers. Next, the bride walked down the aisle under a phoolon ki chadar. Using a color palette dominated by red hues, the wedding looked regal and elegant.
