Noopur Ahluwalia and Mehul Jethva’s wedding unfolded as a celebration that balanced both high energy events with intimate moments that highlighted their loves and passions—especially for their two corgis Gucci and Versace. Wedding Planning
Karan Bains of Shaandaar Events says, “Noopur and Mehul envisioned a wedding that felt as vibrant and expressive as their journey—deeply personal, emotionally rooted, and reflective of their Punjabi and Gujarati cultures. From bright, sun-soaked Haldi and Mehendi celebrations inspired by “haldi ki mehfil mein pyaar ka izhaar,” to a high-energy, unapologetically Punjabi Jaggo, their brief was all about color, warmth, and storytelling. A particularly special element was the inclusion of paws and petals, a heartfelt tribute to their beloved dogs who couldn’t travel from the US, brought to life through playful cut-outs woven into the decor.
“And, right in the middle of all the haldi chaos—when everyone was already covered in color and the music had taken over—someone pointed at the Gucci and Versace signage and joked that they were probably the only two missing from the madness. A few minutes later, one of the cousins actually picked up a handful of petals, walked up to the board, and ‘applied haldi’ to their illustrated faces like they were right there with the couple. It started as a joke, but somehow everyone joined in-petals being tossed at the signage, people laughing, treating it like the dogs were part of the ritual.”

Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The Mehendi was envisioned as a fresh, intimate garden affair, soft pastels, blooming florals, and a breezy sit-down setup. From the floral arch and delicate hanging elements to the personalized pool installation spelling out the bride’s name, every detail leaned into understated beauty.

Haldi
This one had its own vibe right from the start—playful, colorful, and a little unexpected in the best way. Instead of sticking to just yellows, lilacs, soft blues, and pastels were brought through the florals and styling, giving the whole setup a fresher, more layered feel.
What truly made it personal was how the couple’s world was woven into it – especially their corgis Gucci and Versace. The “paws & petals” concept wasn’t just a theme, it was a way of having them be part of the celebration. From custom illustrations to thoughtful little signages and setups, it added a soft, slightly quirky charm that felt intimate and real, not staged.

Jaggo
The jaggo was all about going big and unapologetically desi with bold drapes, traditional textures, warm lights, and an unmistakable Punjabi vibe. The dhol, the dancing, the high energy all came together naturally.

Wedding
The wedding leaned into a quieter kind of luxury—the palette stayed rooted in deep reds, ivories, and soft greens, letting the florals do the talking without ever overpowering the space.
The mandap was designed to feel almost architectural—clean lines, balanced proportions, and layers of florals placed with intention rather than abundance. What made the ceremonies stand out even more was how the two cultures came together seamlessly. Gujarati rituals carried their grace, while Punjabi elements added that underlying sense of scale and celebration.

Reception
For the reception, the atmosphere was more intimate. Deep green tones, soft lighting, and a clean, modern setup gave it a sophisticated feel. After all the high-energy functions, this one was about slowing down—good conversations, close moments, and ending the celebrations on a calm, elegant note.
