Palak and Rohan, Jaipur

A royal wedding at Jaipur was the perfect start for Palak and Rohan’s journey into matrimony. Designed exquisitely by WeddingSutra Favorite – Krayonz Entertainment, the gorgeous two-day wedding festivities fused traditional with contemporary charm. The Krayonz Entertainment team shared some highlights of the festivities.

Wedding Planning
The couple envisioned a royal destination wedding, and entrusted the talented Achint Nag and his team at Krayonz Entertainment to bring their dream to life. Hosted at Fairmont Jaipur, the revelries were skillfully crafted with distinct themes and entertainment. The decor was executed by Classic Wedding Concepts. The rousing festivities, tender moments and gorgeous decor were all captured in candid beauty by Shades Photography.

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The festivities commenced with a vibrant mehndi where the guests were welcomed to the joyous beats of Punjabi dhols. The couple entered through a cloud of colorful smoke, dancing to their special song played by DJ Sameer. The colorful decor saw an explosion of flowers including a lovely flower wheel that made for a great photo spot. Talented mehndi artists created beautiful designs on guests’ palms, while carts selling spicy snacks kept spirits high. The festivities were followed by an intimate lunch.

Sangeet
The mehndi was followed by a ring ceremony and a rousing sangeet. Hosted inside the grand ballroom, the evening saw opulent decor bathed in the glow of blue and violet lights. The couple entered dancing as everyone cheered, setting the tempo for a night of performances, where the couple and their loved ones wowed everyone with their choreographed dances. A special performance by the couple accompanied by fireworks and smoke clouds impressed all, while DJ Sameer’s music had everyone grooving. Refreshing beverages served artistically by the Drinq team kept everyone going all night long. A bespoke cake and champagne toasts added more fun and sweetness to the night.

Brunch
The second-day kick-started with a quirky themed brunch that saw cheerful pastel decor, an abundance of flowers and boho, organic elements such as a farmer’s market, fruit carts, and more. The couple wore breezy pastel ensembles and made a lively entrance with their guests fluttering colorful ribbons to welcome them. Everyone dressed in spring hues and had a gala time with the trivia photo booth, life-size Jenga and a mini mocktail bar.

Wedding
After the traditional Safa Bandhai for both sides, the baraat festivities kicked off with the groom’s family dancing non-stop to dhol beats. Refreshments and cold towels kept their enthusiasm high as the groom entered in a vintage car. They were greeted by the bride’s family at the poolside with pearl garlands, flower petals and sweets. The bride’s entry on a flower carpet was followed by a lovely varmala ceremony, where the guests showered the couple with petals as they exchanged garlands.

The stunning decor palette of white, red and gold lent the event a regal feel. The decadent mandap included elements like bells, brass ornaments, and a pretty floral canopy. The couple tied the knot to the soulful melody of the shehnai and classical instruments as well as Vedic chants by Swapnil Mistry. Later, guests enjoyed a sumptuous high tea where Delhi chaat delicacies were served.

Reception
Hosted inside the grand ballroom, the glamorous reception brought the festivities to a close. Decked up in beautiful ball gowns and dapper tuxedos, the guests cheered as the couple entered to a flower shower and fireworks display. Eclectic pink and violet lights gave the venue a magical feel, while dainty cherry blossom trees around the ballroom and at the entrance created a charming ambiance. The couple wowed everyone with their dance performance amidst led lights and dry ice smoke. The crowd grooved to the beats of DJ Sameer, popped champagne and enjoyed hookah sessions, which was followed by a delicious dinner.
