Palomi Shah and Raghav Malik, The Roseate, New Delhi
A meticulously planned celebration with an emphasis on the guest experience and a signature fragrance for the celebration
Palomi Shah’s and Raghav Malik’s wedding planning had a strong start. With both bride and groom being wedding designers and decorators—Palomi is based in Mumbai, and Raghav is based in Delhi—the aesthetic was designed with a clear vision in mind. And executing each detail to ensure it was the best day of their lives was WeddingSutra Favorite – Riwaaz-e-Rishte.

Wedding Planning
Anisha Verma of Riwaaz-e-Rishte says, “With a strong sense of aesthetics and a deep understanding of the craft, the couple was closely involved in conceptualizing the décor. The final design was a seamless blend of their individual styles, brought to life with thoughtful detail and precision, making the wedding a true reflection of their shared creative spirit.”
Highlights of the celebrations included elegant calligraphy on double-walled mugs as keepsakes, an immersive Hologram Act that wowed guests at the sangeet after-party, and lively rattle sticks handed out during the phere to amplify the celebration. A calming pillow mist by Stimuli served as a memorable favor during the check-in and the same fragrance was used as the signature fragrance for the whole wedding, including the venue and guest rooms. Cute acrylic bags replaced traditional hampers for a chic twist.

Haldi and Mehendi
The functions were as much a celebration of their aesthetic as it was a celebration of their love. The décor included a touch of India fabrics and rattan furniture, perfectly complementing the open-air venue which had trees in plenty. The guests released balloons, dotting the sky with their joy. And, with 24×7 Maggi and chai, along with a sugarcane stall during the mehendi, this was a comfort food festival.

Sangeet
The sangeet was a glitzy night with an award-function aesthetic. Candle lights highlighted the minimalistic décor of the venue and its sleek arches. Family performances and a champagne pyramid were the highlights of the evening in addition to the performance by the After Sonic band, post the sangeet, while a heartfelt Heart Guest Book captured memories from loved ones.

Wedding
The wedding had a cutesy décor with cat and rabbit statues in wood. The bride was stunning in a white lehenga with a veil, complementing the groom’s ivory outfit. The groom entered with an open-air car in the baraat. The celebrations continued with an after-party, marking the beginning of a lifetime of joy.
