How they met
Paridhi shares, “Aditya and I met through a mutual friend 5 years ago and soon became friends, but for several years our interactions were limited to annual birthday wishes and occasional mutual parties. It was in December of 2019 that we built a deeper connection that soon led to blissful dinners, drives and talking every single day. The start of the lockdown made me realize how much I wanted him in my life and I confessed my feelings to him. We got engaged in October 2020 and tied the knot on 18th December 2021.”
Wedding Planning
For their wedding, both Paridhi and Aditya wanted a party with enjoyable festivities rather than traditional ceremonies. They were keen on a property with a variety of venue options for their functions, and they found their perfect spot at The Ananta Udaipur. They entrusted the team of Laksh Events to turn their vision of all their celebrations into reality.
To capture their special moments they brought on board Yogi Trivedi of Oragraphy, a renowned wedding photographer and close friend. Paridhi shares, “Ever since I saw his work for the first time 7 years back I was awestruck with his beautiful captures and great attention to detail, and I knew for sure that I wanted him to shoot my wedding. His team did a wonderful job, all the pictures and videos have turned out to be so amazing. We would highly recommend Team Oragraphy to everyone”.
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
A lush decor of foliage and exotic flowers in orange, pink and purple literally brought the intimate rooftop Mehndi function alive by painting a vibrant picture against the idyllic hilly vistas beyond. The bride matched the tropical feel of the decor in an orange silk and net lehenga with a striking slit.
Haldi
The customary yellow decor of Haldi saw a modern update with a sea of sunflowers and pampas grass surrounding the couple as their loved ones anointed them with turmeric. The minimal yet breathtaking decor subtly enhanced the trees and natural greenery of the unique venue, along with glass lamps and vases. The bride and groom opted for elegant ensembles of white and lemon yellow.
Sangeet
High on energy and celebrations, the cocktail function saw a minimal yet striking decor of fairy lights and sparkling LED strips to add some flair to the banquet. A unique entrance of lights, plants and wicker decor welcomed guests while the evening continued with non-stop enjoyment of music and dance. The groom looked dapper in a modish black blazer while the bride chose a simple yet stunning lehenga set in white and purple.
Cocktail
Wedding
Hosted in the verdant lawns of the property with mountains spanning all sides, the wedding was an elegant affair with quaint decor in hues of dull gold and off-white. The highlight however was the unusual sparse tree centerpiece with huge 3D paper flowers towering over the mandap instead of a traditional structure of fresh flowers or drapes. The couple matched the ambience in serene hues of cream and gold with delicate pops of red.

Advice for couples
“Our main advice would be to start planning everything much in advance to avoid getting stressed closer to the date. Also, I would suggest choosing footwear that not only looks good but is also very comfortable, as painful shoes will hold you back from being able to enjoy your functions.”
