Wedding Planning
Shehzarin Udwadia from Double S Enterprises shares, “Pashmina always wanted a white wedding with a dazzling entry where she walked over to her groom with a long white trail on an aisle lined with blooms. Knowing this, we did everything in our capability to make this dream come true. As the planning process began, it was heartening to see how much they trusted us and valued our way of working. The couple’s joyful reactions which ranged from awe to tears as they saw the venue for the first time were incredibly rewarding. For us knowing we’ve contributed to a milestone day in someone’s life was deeply fulfilling.”
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
The welcome dinner was a close-knit gathering where the couple’s loved ones mingled freely before the celebrations began in earnest. The decor was minimal as the couple hosted the dinner at one of the venue’s in-house restaurants and the guests had a gala time posing for selfies as they shared anecdotes.
Ganesh Puja and Bride’s Mehndi
The bride’s mehndi exuded subtle glamour with feminine pastel hues and blooms. Dashes of mint green, chrome elements and urlis filled with tuberoses adorned the venue. The celebrations began with a puja after which the ladies had a fun time getting their hands patterned with henna.
Sangeet
Shehzarin shares, “After the series of close-knit celebrations, the couple decided to amp up the glamour levels with a celestial-themed sangeet that resembled a starry night. Blue ambient lights set the mood while personalised elements along with a vast stage encouraged everyone to let their hair down!”
Wedding and Reception
True to the bride’s vision of a white wedding, the decor for the pheras consisted of a profusion of white blooms and foliage. Suspended blooms adorned the mandap while several crystal chandeliers gave the venue a soft glow. With its stunning backdrop of white blooms and lush greens, every moment was picture-perfect. For the reception, the decor remained the same as the couple changed into western attires.
