Wedding Planning
Reetu Jain from The Weddingwale shares, “Payal and Shubham’s wedding came right after two family weddings. They wanted their wedding to feel different and exciting for their guests, with cool modern vibes mixed with a touch of tradition. Since it was the last family wedding in a long time, they decided to go all out, trying new themes, fun entertainment, stylish décor, and impressive entries to make it a truly unforgettable experience for everyone.” Bride Payal shares, “The Weddingwale team made our special day so beautiful! From keeping in mind things specific to us, things we love to giving us the best execution from their end – everything was great. Our love couldn’t have had a better portrayal. People are still talking about the flamboyance this wedding had and it only brings happiness every time it’s mentioned. The morning welcome had so much elegance, the mehendi decor was surreal, the sangeet was energetic, haldi was epic fun, the varmala & reception were like a dream, and the Humsafar song that the team had Akhil Sachdeva perform for us was so touching!
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The Mehendi ceremony emanated a vibrant boho tropical vibe. The décor showcased a mix of contemporary and refreshing pastel colours. The photo booth had a fun magazine cover backdrop, and the guests chatted while lounging on colourful chairs. Reetu adds, “The couple’s seating exuded boho charm, and their entry was truly captivating. To add to the excitement, we had a ‘block printing booth’ with tote bags as giveaways and a ‘build your own sorbet ice cream’ station. The event was filled with emotional and lively dance performances that made it a day to remember.” To make the day even more special, we had the talented Manya Narang perform, and everyone danced with pure happiness throughout the afternoon!”
Sangeet and After Party
Reetu shares, “The sangeet was an enchanting celebration inspired by Gucci, designed to offer guests a larger-than-life experience. The décor, adorned with bold prints and vibrant colours, perfectly captured the essence of Gucci luxury. Each element, from the entry to the photo booth and pathway, reflected the brand’s signature style. The grand entry, with over 40 dancers and suspended performers, set the stage for a breathtaking atmosphere. Personalized choreography and unique props added creativity to the performances, leaving guests in awe.”
Haldi
For the haldi, things took the unconventional route as Reetu shares, “The haldi had a unique ‘Haldi Pro League’ theme. We aimed to break away from the traditional, subdued atmosphere of a haldi ceremony and create an event that was filled with fun, energy, and laughter. We wanted to create a haldi event that was like no other, thus, the concept of ‘Haldi Pro League’ was born! It was full of vibrant pop art décor and sporty elements like cheerleaders and badges. The couple’s grand entrance, accompanied by a cheerleading squad and an energetic dance performance, set the mood. Each family was given their own colourful badges and entry bands, adding a touch of team spirit to the event. Guests enthusiastically participated in the interactive games, and the live scoreboard added an element of real-time competitiveness. To beat the summer heat, gelatos were served and after the high-energy activities, guests enjoyed a relaxing post-Haldi foot spa, providing a perfect way to unwind.”
Wedding
Reetu shares, “The varmala was an innovative ceremony with a grand entrance for the groom on hydraulic stairs, projection mapping on Panchtatva (The Five Elements of Life), and a surprise bride reveal with a curtain drop, the event was truly mesmerizing! Graceful dancers added to the ambience, leading up to a beautiful varmala exchange, creating unforgettable moments. Planned with advanced technology and precise execution, the varmala left everyone in awe, setting a new benchmark for creativity.”
Reception
Resembling a dreamy, floral wonderland with beautiful chandeliers, the reception was a stunning celebration. International artists and Akhil Sachdeva’s soulful performance made the evening magical.
